Everyone always keeps talking about what women must do before getting married- what they should learn to do, what they should understand, how they should enjoy, etc. (Read to know more here). But not much is written or said about men, who in fact are more worried about losing all their freedom! But guys, marriage is not the end of your life (as some of you fear). It is just the end of your bachelor life, and there are some things you definitely must do before stepping into the new phase of your life. Here are five things that we thought you should not miss, especially if you desire a long and happy married life.

Not just your finances, but your living space and your habits too will need some organisation. Learning to keep your room clean, keeping unwashed socks and underwear away from clean clothes, and just making sure that everything is in the right place, is a priority! All these blunders might be allowed as part of bachelor life or while living in a hostel, but as a responsible man, your wife might have different expectations from you.
Your bachelor life, especially all the times spent with your other single friends, might have been full of carefree hanging out and partying. All the evenings and weekends of drunken brawls and football games might have led to some crazy swearing and slang. Many guys use cuss words even as part of casual chats with friends! This behaviour, of course, is fine with close friends, but that cannot continue once you decide to tie the knot. With your wife, and soon the kids too around, you might not want to continue with the “special language” you use with your friends.
