Long before its release, Tanu Weds Manu Returns remained the hottest topic of discussion around Bollywood. Not only does it have the fun duo, Tanuja Trivedi and Manoj Sharma returning back, it also has a newbie, Kusum Sangwan aka Datto, who is Tanu’s doppelganger.
Well, we love Kangana and her character Tanu. But we are clearly in awe of Kusum! And, here is why we love Datto, the pixie-haired, long-toothed, and her state-level ‘athletes su’ more than Tanu.

You have got to love a character when her opening line in the movie is, “Key kar raha tha bayan faila key, yeh koi Shah Rukh banne ki jagah hai?”, in her thick Haryanvi accent.

Kusum is totally adorable! We have already seen Tanu's outgoing and fun-loving persona, her dominating nature, and constant efforts to prove herself. But, we fell in love with Kusum's freshness, and how she stood up for herself when Tanu publicly insulted her.
When things got out of hand, and nobody stepped in to cut the chaos, she had the guts to stop the wedding right before the seventh ‘phera’. Her dialogue, “I am an athlete, I either win or lose, but never take the consolation prize. I can not become somebody’s consolation prize”, won many hearts.
