In the tinsel town, many actresses don’t even think of getting married at an early age since many want to concentrate on their career first. But, there are many such actresses who want didn’t care much about their age and decided to tie the knot with their prince charming and settle down.
In fact, many of them sacrificed their career for the sake of their family as they wanted to give them time. Here is the list of famous Bollywood actresses who got married at very young age.
Dimple Kapadia was just 16 years old at the time of her marriage to Rajesh who was 15 years older than her. It was even reported that Rajesh married the actress just for attention. But regardless of this, their marriage was celebrated with great joy in March 1973. Speaking about her marriage to the veteran star, the actress once said:
The biggest high for me was to marry Rajesh Khanna. That was high and I don’t think my success was as much of a high as getting married to this superstar. I used to be a big fan of his, it was dream come true.
Even during Rajesh Khanna’s last days, Dimple was always there for him. The superstar passed away on 18 July 2012 at his bungalow, Aashirwad, in Mumbai. The actress was inconsolable after Rajesh Khanna’s death and held his lifeless hand tightly and caressed his forehead.

Divya Bharti was just 18 years old when she tied the knot to producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala. Her marriage at a very young age was not something that brought her into the limelight, but it was her death under mysterious circumstances that did so. It is believed that she committed suicide by jumping off her building. It is one of the most talked-about death mysteries of B-town.

After the death of Divya Bharti, Sajid had gone on to marry a journalist named, Warda Khan Nadiadwala. In a live chat with Bollywood Hungama, Warda Nadiadwala opened up about Sajid’s ex-wife, Divya Bharti. She spoke about how she has been frequently trolled over Divya. She also added that even after 27 years of Divya’s death, she is still an integral part of their lives and they still cherish her memories.

One of the most vivacious actresses, Neetu Singh got married to the chocolate boy of Bollywood Rishi Kapoor when she was just 21. Neetu had started dating Chintu, aka Rishi when she was just 14 years old. He was already a well-established actor and the heartthrob of millions by then, while she was just taking baby steps into the industry. The first time they had come together on-screen was for the film Zehreela Insaan (1974)
In February 2020, Rishi Kapoor was hospitalised in Delhi due to some health issues and on April 30, 2020, the nation woke up to the shocking news of Rishi Kapoor’s death. The 67-year-old actor, who was fighting with cancer for two years bids adieu to his friends, family, and his loving fans.

Bhagyashree Patwardhan was only 21 when she tied the knot with Himalaya Dasani. Bhagyashree and Himalaya fell in love with each other since their school days. It was at the end of some school trip when Himalaya proposed Bhagyashree. Both of them have two kids, Avantika Dasani, and Abhimanyu Dasani.

Mother of Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, Babita got married to Randhir Kapoor at the age of 23. Babita and Randhir were childhood sweethearts and shared an amazing bond with each other. The audience loved their chemistry in Kal Aaj Aur Kal, which was a runaway success.
Raj Kapoor, father of Randhir Kapoor had no issues in taking Babita as the lead actress in the 1971 film, Kal Aaj Aur Kal and working together professionally but the idea of making her the bahu of Kapoor khaandaan was something he couldn’t agree to initially. However, realising his son’s love for Babita, the Kapoors gave in on the condition that Babita should quit acting after marriage. Babita, who was head over heels in love with Randhir, adhered to the patriarchal tradition and finally on November 6, 1971, Randhir Kapoor and Babita got married in a Punjabi wedding at the Kapoor residence.
Not many know that they are separated but not divorced, and hence, it’s fair to call their marriage an estranged one.
