Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are among Bollywood's most adorable couples. They got married on April 20, 2007, and began their forever journey. After four years of marital bliss, the couple ecstatically embarked on the journey of parenthood and welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, on November 16, 2011. While Aishwarya and Abhishek have been painting the town red for some years now, there was a time when the actress was surprised at being addressed as 'Mrs Bachchan'.
In an old interview with the Hindustan Times, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recalled the moment when she finally realised that she was married. The actress revealed that she and her husband, Abhishek Bachchan jetted off to Bora Bora for their honeymoon. During the flight, a stewardess addressed Aishwarya as Mrs Bachchan and left her surprised. Recalling the incident, Aishwarya had said:
“It was on the flight to our honeymoon in Bora Bora. The stewardess welcomed me on-board saying, ‘Welcome, Mrs Bachchan.’ And Abhishek and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing! And it hit me, I’m married! I’m Mrs Bachchan!”

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s love blossomed on the sets of Umrao Jaan. But way before that Abhishek was smitten by Aishwarya’s beauty when he met her for the first time in Switzerland, where he went for the recce of a film. Aishwarya was shooting there with Bobby Deol for her Bollywood debut film, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. After spending time with each other during the shooting of Umrao Jaan, Guru and Dhoom 2, the duo started developing feelings for each other. During the premiere of Guru, the handsome Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya, and she said yes.
Abhishek Bachchan chalked out a unique plan to propose to his ladylove, Aishwarya Rai. It so happened that back then, Abhishek was sitting on the balcony of his hotel room in New York when a whimsical thought of marrying Aishwarya on that very balcony crossed his mind. And having thought about it, he decided to propose to Aishwarya in that exact spot. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey right after their marriage, Abhishek shared the anecdote of proposing to Aishwarya for marriage and mentioned:
“I was filming in New York for a movie, and I used to stand on my balcony of my hotel room and wish that one day wouldn't it be nice if I was together with Aishwarya, married? So I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me.”

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been grabbing a lot of attention lately, courtesy of a possible family feud between the Bachchan clan members. According to reports, everything is allegedly not well between the power couple, and they might decide to go their separate paths. Moreover, there have been more speculations about Aishwarya not being on the same page as that of her in-laws, and that she has even left the Bachchan home, Jalsa.
