Alia Bhatt is among the most successful actresses of her time. From working on one after the other blockbuster Bollywood films, bagging several awards and accolades for the same, to making her place even in Hollywood, Alia is indeed riding high in her career. But no matter what, she too, faces backlash for her certain looks during her public appearances. Now, we got hold of one of her advertisements, wherein she caught the netizens' attention, and they started claiming that Alia was trying hard to show off her dimples.
A Reddit user recently posted a video from one of Alia Bhatt's advertisements for Cornetto India. In the video, she looked cute in a denim top featuring white-hued prints. She teamed her look with subtle makeup, including blushed and highlighted cheeks, thin strokes of eyeliner and nude lipstick. She kept her hair open and looked pretty. The actress was heard answering what 'OG fun' for her is. She explained that wrapping up her work and rushing home is fun.

However, Alia's video was shared by the Redditor with the caption that read, "Alia makes a weird face trying too hard to look cute in an ad." And as soon as it surfaced online, netizens started making fun of her look yet again. One user commented, "I also have dimples and they only appear when I talk or smile a certain way. Alia is trying way too hard to show her dimples which to be honest do nothing to accentuate her features, except make her look silly." However, contrary to this, another netizen mentioned, "I don’t think she is trying hard to show her dimples, her dimples are very much visible when she talks normal. I don’t want this to come out wrong but I really think she should get this checked if she hasn’t, I feel this is definitely some sort of disorder."

This isn't the first time Alia Bhatt has been bashed for something related to her face or fashion sense. Earlier, another Redditor took to the discussion platform and shared a picture of Alia from the Ambnai soiree in March 2024. The same Reddit user also compared her present day pictures with stills from her debut film, Student Of The Year. Soon, Alia started garnering some negative attention over the size of her lips. As soon as the post was shared, several netizens commented that Alia has overlined her lips to achieve the plump effect, others talked about the actress using minimal fillers and botox to get the same result.

Not only that, on May 14, 2023, when Alia was papped at the Mumbai airport, the netizens yet again criticised her look. It was while Alia was jetting off to Seoul to attend an event after being appointed as the global ambassador of the luxury brand, Gucci. For her travel that day, she donned a white top teamed with loose denim pants and a long denim overcoat. However, as soon as her pictures were shared on social media, netizens started comparing her look with Deepika Padukone. She was also called out for copying Deepika's airport fashion spree.
