Boney Kapoor is one of the most bankable filmmaker-cum-producers in the industry. Coming to his personal life, he was initially married to Mona Shourie, with whom he has two kids, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. Afterwards, he fell for Sridevi, and together, they were blessed with two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Time and again, we get hold of some lovely moments of Boney with the legendary actress, Sridevi, which proves their love for each other.
Yet again, a Reddit user shared a clip from one of the episodes of Salman Khan's show, Dus Ka Dum, which was graced by Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. In the clip, they were heard discussing about 'good news'. At the beginning, the host of the show, Salman asked the actress, "Jab aapki shaadi hui toh aapse bhi pucha gya ki aap 'good news' kab suna rahe hai." To this, Sridevi blushed red and immediately answered, "Nahi pucha." Then, Salman diverted his question towards Boney, and the latter gave a hilarious answer. Boney said:
"Puchne se pehele hi sab kuch ho gaya tha."

Listening to this, Salman went towards Boney and hugged him. Then, the host shared a piece of advice he got from his mother. Salman mentioned, "Meri mummy bolti hai ki shaadi karo nah karo 'good news' pehele suna dena. Beta tum 'good news' kab suna rahe ho uske baad bhale toh shaadi karlo." To this, yet again, Boney gave another hilarious answer and added, "Humare case mein, mummy se jyada mujhe jaldi thi." And this statement from Boney left not only Sridevi but everyone else in the show in splits.

Ever since Sridevi went for her heavenly abode, Boney Kapoor keeps recalling golden memories with his late wife. For instance, when he sat for an interview with Zoom a few months ago, he shared that Sridevi was much more spiritual than him. The doting husband mentioned that it was also because of the late actress that he started believing in spirituality. The filmmaker then opened up about some unusual roles that were performed by the late actress. Citing an example, Boney mentioned that Sridevi fired the pyre after her mom passed away. In Boney's words:
"Sridevi was more religious than I was. I started believing more in it because of her. Sridevi did unusual roles and unusual things. She lit the fire on the pyre when her mother passed away."

In the same interview, Boney shared Sridevi's equation with his first wife, Mona. Boney added that he often feels guilty but has been very honest with his first wife. He mentioned how Mona was well aware of his feelings for Sridevi. Boney shared that before his marriage with Sridevi, the latter used to stay in the same house as Mona. Revealing more about the same, Boney mentioned that his mom was also aware of his feelings for Sidevi, and she once asked the actress to tie rakhi on Boney's hand. Boney stated:
"I do feel guilty, but I was very honest with Arjun’s mother, Mona. She was aware of the feelings I had for Sridevi, and I never denied it . Sri had stayed in the same house with her, much before we got married. My mother knew about my feelings for Sridevi, which is why she went to Sri one day and said, ‘Boney ko rakhi baandho’."
