A marriage is a solemn occasion; one that should be entered into with a clear and strong mind. However, you need to be very careful when it comes to the Indian arranged marriage set up. The questions that girls are asked in the first meeting are sometimes so funny and ridiculous that it makes her absolutely sure to reject that person there and then. This is partly because today, women are more confident and clear of the decisions they make, and get the respect and stature they deserve.
So, here are few such lines/questions that should never be said to a girl on the first arranged marriage meeting along with what goes on in her mind when she hears them.

Well I am sure you too would have dated in the past. And even if not, why judge each other on these lines at all? What is in the past should stay there and it is not necessary to come out with all these details in the first meeting itself!

I like children too, but shouldn’t the decision of when to start planning and how many to have be a joint decision? Also, I want to enjoy my life after marriage a little, and be absolutely ready mentally, emotionally and physically before I conceive.
