Everyone understands that it’s your day and you want it to be perfect. But, that doesn’t mean that you can impose all your ideas on others. Be assertive, but avoid being downright offensive.

One of the biggest stress-inducing things you can do is wanting to do everything by yourself. Accept the fact that you cannot do everything on your own.
Get support from your family and friends; delegate and divide work. Specify in great detail, if you are particular about the work you're delegating. One cannot do everything on their own, but everyone can do something to complete the work in an efficient and effective way.
You're most probably starving yourself to watch your waist and weight. But a grumpy angry bride won't make for a pretty picture even if she's slim. Do not fret too much about your weight and enjoy indulgences, especially chocolate (it always works wonders for your mood). Eating too less will only make you look weak and pale.
This certainly does NOT mean that you should stop reducing or maintaining your weight but eating enough is the key here. Extreme dieting is not healthy as it makes your skin sallow and hair. It also brings down your energy levels immensely.

In the end, remember that not all will be perfect; no matter how hard you try. Expect certain things to go wrong. It is all right as long as you are marrying the right person! Higher the expectations to have the prefect wedding, higher the disappointment.
Certain things might go wrong, factors that are out of your control, but if their impact on your wedding is negligible, then do not freak out and let it go.
Every bride definitely wants to be like a princess on her wedding day. But, that does not mean you should control everything. Just do not stress out, remember that at the end what matters most is a happy life with your hubby. Things – decorations, wedding venues, flowers, guests, etc., will not stay for long.
Also, do not try to go over-budget. It will eventually only cause problems for everybody, your parents and your would-be husband. It’s perfectly ok if you can manage a beautiful simple wedding within your budget.
Stay calm, not just before your wedding day, but also on the D-Day itself. Read HERE to know how you can do so!
Wedding certainly means a big transition for you and your parents, so acknowledge your parents’ feelings too. Spend quality time with your parents and try to understand their feelings and insecurities. They need your support as much as you need theirs.
Try not to hurt them by being mean and busy in your wedding shopping and preparations. They might feel lonely or left out, with you being married and stepping out to live your own life. Shower them with all your love and support.
Remember to manage time effectively during the preparation for your wedding. From the time of your engagement until the wedding, just keep in check that you are not ignoring your work life or your friends. Spending time with friends can be done while you are shopping. It would be a great experience and memory for all of you.

We know you are a princess for your doting husband and parents, but refrain from making unreasonable demands. Remember to arrange your wedding within your budget – throwing a lavish bachelorette party, spending money on uncalled-for stuff like expensive lingerie, unnecessary visits to salons are all unrequired expenses. By making unrealistic demands, you will only give stress and pressure to your family and yourself.
Try to be calm and composed throughout the pre-wedding days. If nothing else works, just take out half an hour from your day, and meditate. You can also try doing some yoga to help you stay calm as well as fit; that’s double bonus! Preparations for your weddings can be real hectic, just as your body needs rest, your mind needs rest too.
