It is usually believed that marriages are made in heaven, but looking at these TV couples' married lives, it gets hard to believe this adage. They met while working together, fell in love, vowed to be with each other forever, but got divorced after a few months or years due to certain differences.

Let us take a look at a few such much-in-love couples, who ended up getting divorced after spending some time together.
Rashami and Nandish met on the sets of the Colors TV show, Uttaran, fell in love and got married on February 12, 2012. Their relationship hit a rocky patch in 2013, and Rashami decided to file for a divorce. To give another chance to their relationship, they even participated in the seventh season of the celeb dance reality show, Nach Baliye. However, the blame game is still on about who was at fault behind their broken marriage, Rashami spoke about the domestic violence she faced with Nandish. The couple got separated in the year 2016.

Dipika Kakar aka Simar of Sasural Simar Ka initially hid her 3-year-old marriage to pilot Ranauk Mehta, who is also from the media industry. But, she could not hide her divorce news, which spread like forest fire. It was rumoured that her closeness to her daily soap co-star, Shoaib Ibrahim, was the reason behind their separation.

Now, Dipika and Shoaib Ibrahim have admitted to being in a relationship. Shoaib went down on his knees and proposed Dipika on the sets of Nach Baliye 8. Their relationship is going strong and marriage is on the cards very soon.
Shaleen Bhanot and Daljeet Kaur met on the sets of Kulvaddhu. Initially, they were friends, but soon became lovers. These winners of Nach Baliye 4 happily tied the knot on December 9, 2009, after Shaleen proposed marriage to Daljeet. But, their fairytale romance came to an end after 6 years of marriage when Daljeet filed for divorce, citing physical and mental assault by Shaleen as the reason.

The 'casanova' of telly world, Karan Singh Grover, found his first love in Shraddha Nigam and married her on Decemeber 2, 2008. But, just after a short span of 10 months, things went kaput in their happy married life. The couple separated and finally got divorced in 2009. The main reason behind their divorce was Karan’s philandering ways and his affair with his Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 choreographer Nicole Alvares. According to the reports, the telly actress called off the marriage when she caught Karan red-handed with his new found love, Nicole.
In 2012, Shraddha married an actor named, Mayank Anand, and they are enjoying the marital bliss to the fullest.
Do Dil Ek Jaan actress Resham Tipnis, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Sanjeev Seth, finally called it quits in 2004, after 11 years of togetherness. The famous Marathi actress was just 20, when she married Sanjeev, who was 12 years older to her, in 1993. She believes immaturity and lack of understanding between them was the main reason behind their divorce. She said:
"Today when we look back, both of us feel that had I been more mature and he more understanding, divorce would have never happened."
In 2010, Sanjeev got married to his Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star, Lata Sabharwal, and they have a baby together.
Former beauty queen, Deepshikha Nagpal, separated from her actor hubby, Jeet Upendra twice before finally getting divorced in 2007. The couple, who married in 1997, got divorced after 10 years of marriage due to constant fights.
In 2012, the actress got married to actor, Kaishav Arora. There were reports that things were not going smooth between them, but they have now decided to sort things out and give their marriage a second chance.

Popular TV actors, Rajeev and Delnaaz were once known as the cutest couples from the telly world. The couple first met while shooting for Parivartan in 1993 and soon love blossomed and a dreamlike marriage happened in 1998. Things were strong between this adorable couple for more than a decade. Their compatibility in the sixth season of Nach Baliye was adored by judges as well as other participants. But things started turning sour for this bubbly couple and they separated in 2010. They officially divorced in 2012.
Karan Singh Grover was unlucky in love even for the second time when he married his Dill Mill Gaye co-star Jennifer Winget on April 9, 2012. The once lovebirds separated after two years of their marriage, in November 2014. However, if rumours are to be believed, then it was once again Karan’s flirtatious nature and his alleged proximity with his Alone movie, co-star Bipasha Basu, which created the rift between the couple.
Again, on the flip side, this became the biggest celebrity news of 2016. Karan did marry Bipasha Basu on April 30, 2016 in a grand wedding affair.
The pretty damsel from Kasautii Zindagii Kay won hearts when she portrayed the role of a girl-next door, Prerna. When she entered the telly world, she was happily married to actor Raja Chaudhary, who was from Meerut. The couple even featured together in the second season of dance reality show Nach Baliye. The couple who got married in 1998 have a daughter named Palak Chaudhary.
Though there was trouble in their marriage, but Shweta never spoke about it until she divorced Raja after 9 years of togetherness. She accused him of domestic violence. The couple separated in 2007 and divorced in 2012.
The actress is now happily married to Abhinav Kohli, and even mentioned in an interview that she has never been this happy in her entire life. The couple was blessed with a baby boy, Reyansh Kohli on November 27, 2016. While Raja on the other hand, went on to marry Delhi-based professional Shveta Sood in 2015.

Who can forget the big show-it-off wedding stint of Sara Khan and her boyfriend of 4 years, Ali Merchant, on the reality show Bigg Boss 4! The lovebirds had a nikaah on the show in November 2010. But, soon Sara’s marriage turned out to be a nightmare, and the couple got divorced just after two months in 2011. Apparently, things started going kaput, when Sara realised that Ali has spent all her hard-earned money without informing her. It was rumoured that the TV stars married on the show to gain publicity, but Sara denied the allegation saying:
"I married Ali because I loved him and not for money or to gain some cheap publicity as many say."
But Ali accepted the fact of him getting married on TV for publicity. He even went on to say that marrying Sara was his “biggest mistake”.
After 4 years of marriage, Sweta Keswani and Alexx O' Neil parted ways and filed for divorce in 2011. The couple had a fairytale wedding in 2007, in four different ways - a court marriage, a Buddhist ceremony, a Hindu traditional, and a church wedding. But unfortunately, their different goals, desires and needs for the future along with professional commitments created a void in their relationship leading to separation.
These TV celebs married the love of their lives, but soon parted ways due to certain differences. While some have remained friends even after divorce, the others have maintained no contacts with their exes, but whatever the case, their real life is nothing less than reel life.
