We can hardly remember a dull moment from the time Kareena Kapoor Khan announced her pregnancy to when she gave birth to baby Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi on December 20, 2016.
During her pregnancy, Kareena inspired millions of moms-to-be with her impeccable yet easy maternity fashion, and after baby Taimur made it to the world, Kareena wowed us with her superficial post-pregnancy look.

Kareena has been one woman in Bollywood who has, to a great extent, redefined pregnancy and parenthood and also the art of balancing motherhood and work. She was working till her eight month of pregnancy and now, just after 45 days after her delivery, she is back working again.

The gorgeous begum made heads turn at the Lakme Fashion Week where she was the showstopper for celebrated fashion designer Anita Dongre.
Here’s a video:
Talking about walking the ramp at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week just after 45 days of her delivery, Kareena said:
“When the team asked if I would walk coz it has just been 45 days (since her delivery), I said why not. Don’t other people walk?”
Kareena does have a special connect with Lakme we guess. Last time when Kareena walked the ramp, she was carrying Taimur and she promised to come back. Reminiscing about the experience, she said:
“Last time when I walked the ramp I think that was special but of course coming back so soon is I think, even more special.”

Now talking about how she manages to work while taking care of cute little Taimur, Kareena proudly declared that Saif’s very supportive and that’s the real reason why she is able to take care of her work commitments as well as her baby boy.
She said:
“When I am at work, he is at home. When he is at work, I am at home. Every man and woman should be like that.”
Wow, that’s a great way of balancing things out! Here’s something more Kareena had to say about hitting the ramp again:
"I have always balanced it out. It is great to be back. I said this through pregnancy also that it is not an illness so, I walked the ramp then and I will keep doing that because I love it. I know many people are like I am not in the best shape and with skinny models around… but I think it requires a lot of courage and confidence to do it. I think I have it."
Kudos to Kareena Kapoor Khan for brilliantly shrugging off all the myths around working moms and expectant mothers. Way to go!
