Ever since the day baby Taimur put his angelic feet down into the world, everybody has been going crazy about the junior most addition to the Nawab family. Everything about the little wonder, right from his picture, to his name, to his nickname has been discussed in detail in the media.
And rightly so, because the little one is born into two of the most prestigious families of Bollywood, the Pataudis and the Kapoors. People have been going gaga over Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi (read more unique celeb baby names here), and now, the gorgeous mommy Kareena Kapoor has given all of us another reason to gush about the cutie pie.
Recently, a new picture of Kareena lovingly holding Taimur in her arms has surfaced on the internet. And we must warn you, the photo is cuteness overloaded. The candid and cutesy picture taken by a wedding specialist photographer, Neha Jiwarajka-Basu, is taking the internet by storm. So, without making you wait any further, here it is:
Well, Kareena’s gentle hold and soft smile are the true expressions of what motherhood really feels like, isn’t it? Both mamma and baby look adorbs in this gorgeous picture. We just cannot stop looking at it and being overwhelmed with unknown emotions. In a recent interview with a leading portal, Said said something very cute about his baby's looks which made us go 'aww'. He said that Taimur resembled his maternal grandfather, Randhir Kapoor. These were his exact words, "My mother (Sharmila Tagore) feels that Taimur looks like Dabooji (this is what Randhir is fondly called). We all feel that he looks like a Kapoor. But yeah, I think he has my eyes." Awww! So cute of daddy dearest to point out his little one's resemblance to him and his family members! For the uninitiated, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their little boy, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, into this world on December 20, 2016. The proud parents gave their little guy a unique name, which was hugely talked about in the media. Here you can read about all the controversy around Taimur’s name, and Saif’s kickass response to it.
There is no denying that whatever Taimur does, even his little acts and gestures, become the centre of media and fans for long. For example, when daddy, Saif revealed Taimur's favourite food, everyone went gaga. This is what he said, "At the moment I think it’s mashed pear (nashpati) and carrot. The first time he ate solid food after milk was quite an adventure. We gave him dal and mixed potato and he was like ‘hmmm, not bad’. It is fun to feed him." In fact, sharing a very cute father-son moment, Saif once remarked, “I have been leaving my house early and I have started waking him up at around 7. He finishes his feed — he has just started on solid foods — and we spend about 20 minutes together. I read to him or put on some music, or nursery rhymes.”

It's not just daddy Saif and mommy Kareena who has always been so caring about Taimur. Would you believe that on his first birthday, Rujuta Diwekar, Kareena's dietitian, gifted Taimur a small little forest? Yes! She shared this news on her Instagram handle herself which read, "A little forest for Taimur. A little boy can never have enough of birds, bees and butterflies and so we have put together a small forest as a birthday gift for the little big boy, Taimur, in Sonave. It’s a special forest, one that thrives on intercropping and I hope that as he grows he too will thrive in and celebrate a diverse society. A society where people live together through and due to their distinctions. The forest has about 100 trees on a 1000 sq ft plot. The trees are as young as Taimur, even younger actually, and each one of them is a local, native, climate resilient species. It will be a forest of the super foods of the future. There are 3 jamuns, 1 jackfruit, 1 amla, 40 Bananas, 14 Moringas, 1 Kokum, 1 Papaya, 5 Seetaphal, 2 Ramphals, 2 Nimbu trees. Besides these, it grows 3 different types of native pulses and many Mirchi, Ginger, Turmeric and kari patta plants. Not to mention the green leafy veggies and the genda phools that grow in between. The forest is inspired by Padma Shri Subhash Palekar’s zero budget natural farming where one tree grows symbiotically off another and thus is thrifty in one’s pocket. The forest will become a home for pollinating agents like the butterflies, bees, birds and earthworms. It will help nurture the soil, fix back the nitrogen and minerals in the soil that it grows on, preserve the water table and look elegant and beautiful while doing it all. Here’s to living sustainably! Happy Birthday, Taimur."
We have to say that Kareena, Saif and Taimur make one beautiful family, and we wish loads of happiness, love and luck to come their way. May God shower his choicest blessings on the family, always.
