Shah Rukh Khan, who is hailed as the 'King' of Bollywood, knows how to win the hearts of his fans with his acting prowess, humble nature, and charming personality. On the other hand, he is a complete family man and never skips a chance to support his wife and kids whenever needed. It was back in 2021 when the actor's whole world turned upside down when his elder son, Aryan Khan, was arrested for his alleged involvement in the drug case. Aryan has been given a clean chit on this matter, but he had to spend 26 days in jail for the same.
For the unversed, it was Indian Revenue Service Officer, Sameer Wankhede who led the case of Aryan Khan in drug involvement. Moreover, he is now under trial for allegedly taking money from SRK to secure the release of Aryan Khan. Moreover, a few months ago, several screenshots of alleged chats between Sameer and Shah Rukh Khan surfaced online. And now, Sameer reacted to the same.

In a recent interview with Lallantop, Sameer was asked about the viral screenshots of his chats with SRK, wherein the latter allegedly asked the officer to show mercy on Aryan. However, when asked about the same, Sameer stated that he doesn't want to comment on it. He also added that whenever such a case comes up where the alleged drug users' parents reach out to the officers, they feel bad about it. Sameer mentioned how, in similar cases, all they want for the consumer is to go to rehab. Citing an example, Sameer mentioned how once they caught a woman who was a drug peddler and also a mom to young children. Sameer said such cases make them feel bad, but it's their duty. Sameer can be quoted as saying:
"I won't talk about him. But whenever we take action against someone, we feel bad for their parents and relatives. Especially if that person has consumed or is in a habit of it. You feel that the person must be sent to rehab. We once had caught a woman who was a drug peddler. She had young children. So in such cases, we feel bad. But at the end of the day, it is our duty."
In the same interview, when asked about Aryan Khan's case, Sameer mentioned that it was the 'smallest case of his life'. He also added that if he ever returns to his post, he will do it all again. Sameer also mentioned that he has no regrets in his life. He said:
"I don’t have any regrets in life, firstly, and if given the chance, I’d do it all again.”

Going further in the interview, when the interviewer asked Sameer if this was a warning to SRK, he said that he is a small man and he isn't anyone to warn anybody. Sameer further added that the person to whom the interviewer is referring, he doesn't know his name. When the interview further asked him if he is truly not aware of SRK's stardom, Sameer said:
"I would prefer if you ask me about ‘real heroes’ such as Modi ji, or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”
Shah Rukh Khan's movie, Jawan, broke all the records at the box office. Moreover, there was a dialogue wherein SRK's character mentioned, "Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar." The dialogue itself created a stir on the internet as people started thinking this to be a dig at Sameer Wankhede related to Aryan Khan's drug involvement case. However, Sameer also posted a cryptic tweet, seemingly as a reply to SRK. Check out Sameer's tweet:
