2020 has been extremely special for Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra as they had welcomed an angel in their lives, Samisha Shetty Kundra, completing their family. Though Shilpa and Raj had kept their newborn daughter guarded from the media glare and had only posted partial glimpses of her on their social media handles, it was a few days ago when the 45-year-old mommy was captured by the paparazzi with Samisha. It was the first time when Samisha was introduced to the world and it was indeed a sight to behold moment!
In pre-COVID times, we had often spotted Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra stepping out for brunch/dinner dates and family outings in Mumbai. For the first time post-lockdown, the paparazzi snapped the couple at their favourite restaurant, Bastian. For the unversed, Bastian is a hot pick of the celebrities and in 2019, Shilpa had acquired a 50 per cent stake in Bastian Hospitality. Shilpa and Raj twinned in black for the dinner date at Bastian and were joined by the most loved celeb couple of B-town, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh. For the evening, Shilpa opted for a head-to-toe black look in a black cutout crop top paired with high-waisted leather pants and her look was accentuated with strappy heels and red sling bag, breaking the monotony. Raj twinned with her in a black sweatshirt and classic blue denim.
Genelia Deshmukh looked graceful as ever in a white shirt paired with checked black and white shorts. Riteish Deshmukh complemented her in a blue shirt and denim. Mr and Mrs Deshmukh twinned in black coloured masks. A few days ago, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra had completed 11 years of married life and to mark the same, the actress had posted a no-filter selfie with her ‘Cookie’. Speaking about Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, the couple had completed eight years of married life on February 3, 2020, and soon will be celebrating their ninth anniversary. Before the lovebirds step into the tenth year of married life, Genelia had revealed in an interview how supportive Riteish is as a husband. Genelia was quoted as saying, “I never had to tell him to do anything. I never had to demand it. in fact, he was the one after me to get back to work for the last 2 years, he would tell me why am I wasting my talent, he told me that when I am busy, he will take off and vice versa. It is an understanding. I think when you have that kind of support you feel at ease and don’t feel the burden. I am actually very happy being a homemaker. I don’t feel burdened by it. There was a time when all I wanted was to be a homemaker and that is not a bad thing, I think it is double the work than when we go out for work.
