This wedding season, Hallyu is buzzing with the news of the holy matrimony of several popular couples one after the other. Most recently, it is James Lee, the former member of the third-generation K-pop band, Royal Pirates, who has announced his upcoming wedding with his fans. James Lee departed from Royal Pirates after his fatal accident but continues entertaining his fans with solo music videos.
James Lee was a profound bass artist for thirteen years, after which he switched to keyboard instrumentals owing to his accident. The band has been officially active since 2013, and James had been an integral part of it. After his departure, he went solo and released the music video, Run Away.

On October 31, 2023, James Lee took to his Instagram account and shared the news of his forthcoming wedding with his fans. He revealed that he is tying the knot with Fafa, his longtime companion. He revealed that Fafa has been with him through all his highs and lows, and he is lucky to have her. James Lee further added:
“I have some great news I am excited to share with you. I’m getting married! I’ve found my other half, and she makes me want to be the best person I can be. Over the past few years, I’ve experienced highs and lows that would’ve broken me if I didn’t have her in my life. I love and cherish her very much, and I feel so lucky to introduce her to you all.”
James Lee is smitten with his wife-to-be and could not stop singing praises for her. He divulged that Fafa has stood by him throughout his journey and inspired him to be a better person. Fafa pushes him to face the world’s challenges for a better tomorrow and is the biggest driving force of his life. James Lee also added:
“Fafa is a beautiful person inside and out with an incredible sense of responsibility, passion, and integrity, and she loves with her entire being. She is kind-hearted and unafraid to fight and sacrifice for the people she loves. She reminds me that even though there are challenges every single day, it’s worth it to persevere, get up and fight, and be a better person.”

James Lee expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards his fans for their unwavering support towards him during his tough times. He added that social media played a significant role in helping him connect with his fans and form a bond with them. He concluded his post by adding:
“Social media has been a crucial part of my life, especially during the pandemic and after I left RP with my injury, and it has allowed me to stay in touch with you all and feel your love and positivity over all these years. I try to keep parts of my life private to remind myself to appreciate the experiences and moments we have face-to-face, yet I feel like this is a milestone in my life that would be happier if I could share it with you all. Thank you so much for your support over all this time, and I hope you will share the joy we have as we celebrate the beginning of the rest of our lives.”
