Vidyut Jammwal is a well-known Bollywood actor, model and martial arts enthusiast. This Jammu-born Bollywood actor has been the talk of B-town ever since he starred in Force opposite John Abraham and showcased his excellent martial arts skills. He is trained in Kalaripayattu (a marital art form that originated in Kerala) since the age of three, and has done various international training shows in various martial art forms. By the time he was 11, he had been to almost 30 different countries for tournaments.

Unlike most of the other Bollywood actors, Vidyut prefers his workout routine outside the gym. He prefers the gym only for strength training. He is a champ of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), and starts his workout as early as 6 in the morning. He does a mix of Kalarippayattu, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu (an extremely difficult combat sport focused on ground grappling technique), gymnastics and Parkour (a holistic training given to the military to move swiftly and efficiently through the battlefield overcoming any obstacle they come across). He trains for about six to eight hours a day. He works out in the morning as well as in the evening. According to him, Kalaripayattu is the foundation to his entire physical training regime, and he learned it in Kerala.

According to Vidyut Jammwal, one has to understand his body. He feels that the body has its own wisdom and if one wants to fine-tune it, then one must work out and indulge in adequate fitness regime. He believes one must religiously and lovingly do any physical activity- anything like badminton, swimming or kick-boxing, and they will surely stay fit.

Tuesday- Chest and Triceps
3 sets of barbell bench press of 4-6 reps
3 sets of incline bench press of 4-8 reps
3 sets of rope push-downs of 10 reps
2 sets of cable flyes of 13 reps
3 sets of skull crushers of 8-10 reps
2 sets of triceps kickbacks of 12-15 reps

Vidyut Jammwal is a strict vegetarian and many people find it difficult to understand how he could build such an amazing body being a vegetarian. In fact, he is a big supporter of PETA.
