The Pakistani drama, Tere Bin became an instant hit when it was released in December last year. It took the entire Indian subcontinent by storm and has set previously unheard records in terms of viewership, both on television and YouTube. Tere Bin, directed by Siraj-ul-Haque, starred biggies like Wahaj Ali, Yumna Zaidi, Sabeena Farooq, Sohail Sameer, Bushra Ansari, and other talented Lollywood actors.
Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi's performances as 'Murtasim' and 'Meerab' respectively in the drama, Tere Bin have won the hearts of audiences on both sides of the border. Despite receiving criticisms, the lead couple's acting skills and the series' twists and turns kept the audience engaged. Recently, the maker of the series, Abdullah Kadwani, announced on his official X (formerly Twitter) account that the duo will be returning in Tere Bin 2. Kadwani promised fans that the new season would be fantastic.

On December 29, 2023, Abdullah Kadwani took to his official account on Instagram and announced the return of the much-loved drama, Tere Bin. The second season of the show is titled Tere Bin 2 and will feature the original lead pair, Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, aka ‘Yumhaj’. Kadwani has promised that the unmatched chemistry between the two actors will be on display once again in this new season, which will be produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment and will be aired on Geo Entertainment.
The producer has expressed his commitment to delivering new standards of excellence in the upcoming season. He has also expressed gratitude towards Yumna and Wahaj's fans from around the world for their unwavering love and support, calling them the lifeline of the show. He has requested them to continue showering their love and support on this new journey. In the pictures shared by Kadwani, Yumna and Wahaj can be seen twinning in black and posing with the clapperboard alongside Abdullah and Asad Qureshi. The duo's smiles are adorable and hint at the chemistry that fans have been eagerly waiting to see on screen once again. Abdullah Kadwani captioned the post as:

The lead actress of Tere Bin, Yumna Zaidi celebrated the first anniversary of the show via her Instagram story. She shared a video of herself cutting a pink cake with white icing, which had "Hello Meerub" written on it. Atop the picture, Yumna wrote, "One year to this beautiful day 'Tere Bin'. What a beautiful present! Thanks for making Tere Bin." There was even another surprise inside the cake, Yumna revealed a secret message by pulling up the cream layer that said, "Congrats on 1 year of Tere Bin."
