Cucumber is full of antioxidants and is very soothing to the skin. This recipe has the cooling and nourishing benefits of mint, cucumber and vitamin E, perfect for a relaxing shower at the end of a tiring day.

  • 1 cucumber (unpeeled)
  • A few fresh mint leaves
  • Granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut oil

Method:

  • Puree cucumber and mint leaves in a blender.
  • Take a small bowl and add the puree, coconut oil and sugar to it. Stir until combined.
  • Transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate.

  • Pulse rose petals in a food processor until they become coarse.
  • Combine the powder with 2 cups of sugar, 2/3 cup of coconut oil and 6-8 drops of your favourite essential oil.
  • Blend the mixture nicely with a spoon and store in an airtight container.

Shelf life: 1-2 months or until the sugar melts away
