#1. Do not stop working out

Agreed that chilly weather makes it difficult to exercise outside, but no matter how lazy you are feeling, you have to sweat it out. If not early in the morning, then exercise in the evening. And if going out is not possible, then workout in your house. Do skipping, yoga, follow a fitness CD, dance or do any other form of exercise, but do them. Walk to nearby places rather than driving till there, join some sports class or anything else, just find ways that will keep you moving and will help in burning calories.

#2. Don’t go to party empty stomach

With the party season around the corner, you are most likely to overindulge. Why? Well, with so many types of lip-smacking and comfort food available on the counter, and to accompany your colleagues/friends, you are bound to overeat. The result is weight gain. But here is a simple solution – never go to a party hungry. Before you head out to a social gathering, have some carbohydrates like carrots, salad, apple, soup or any other high – fibre fruit or vegetable at home. This will keep your tummy full, and you will avoid stuffing yourself unnecessarily.
