Nawazuddin Siddiqui Gets Into Legal Trouble After He Abandons His Househelp In Dubai

Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui landed in trouble as a criminal action has been initiated against him for allegedly abandoning his house help in Dubai.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. He made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, courtesy of his exceptional acting skills. Nawazuddin made his acting debut with the film, Sarfarosh, in 1999. However, he rose to fame with films like Black Friday, Gangs Of Wasseypur, Kahaani, and others. Off lately, Nawazuddin has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. And now, once again, the actor is back in the limelight for abandoning his household in Dubai.

According to a report in Mid Day, a criminal action has been initiated towards Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui after he abandoned his 20-year-old house help in Dubai without any food or money. The report stated that the actor had hired his house help, Sapna Robin Masih in November to take care of his kids while they studied in Dubai. However, after his kids and wife Aaliya's returned back to India, the house help was left all alone in Dubai. Further, his wifey, Aaliya's lawyer, Rizwan Siddiquee in an interview with Mid Day even claimed that Sapna was taken to Dubai on a work visa but she doesn't have any job, food, or money to stay there. Further, he even took to his Twitter handle and shared a video of Sapna wherein she can be seen narrating the whole incident to him. His tweet can be read as:

"The video and my statement speaks for itself. Govt authorities are requested to urgently rescue the house help of @Nawazuddin_S from Dubai where the girl is in a state of Solitary Confinement."

Further, in the same interview, Rizwan mentioned that Sapna was hired by the actor in November, 2022, but she was paid only for the first month. Further, he even stated that Sapna would be left without the basic necessities in Dubai within 2-3 days if she is not rescued immediately. Advocate, Rizwan also said that he is initiating criminal action against Nawazuddin under Section 344 (wrongful confinement for 10 or more days) of the Indian Penal Code. Requesting the government authorities to take a look into the matter, he said:

"Nawazuddin has completely abandoned her in Dubai, without any food or money, in the house rented by Nawazuddin. If she is not rescued immediately, she will be left without money, food or shelter in Dubai, within the next two-three days, as the department concerned will snap the electricity connection after vacating the rented house. I am initiating criminal action against Nawazuddin under Section 344 (wrongful confinement for 10 or more days) of the Indian Penal Code. I urge the government authorities concerned to look into the matter on the most urgent basis."

When Nawaz's wife, Aaliya made serious allegations against her mother-in-law

This is not the first time that Nawazuddin has fallen prey to controversies. Earlier, the actor had grabbed the limelight after his wife, Aaliya filed a case against his mother, Mehrunisa for misbehaving with her under IPC sections, 509 (an insult to modesty) and 498A (a husband or relative of a husband subjecting a woman to cruelty), with the help of her lawyer, Rizwan Siddiquee. She also revealed that her husband and his family had refused to give her the basic necessities or even bathroom access.
