Late singer, Aadesh Shrivastava's wife, Vijaya Pandit first time talked about how Shah Rukh Khan promised her husband to take care of his son on his deathbed, but they are unable to reach him.
Famous singer, Aadesh Shrivastava passed away in 2015, after giving a tough fight to cancer. The singer, who is famous for giving his tunes in films like Chalte Chalte and Baghban, was the kind of a person to come for help at three in the night. However, when cancer attacked him, he realised how no one from the entertainment industry came for help.
Recently, in an interview with Lehren Retro, Aadesh Shrivastava's wife, Vijayta, revealed that Shah Rukh met her husband just a day before his death. She called out Shah Rukh and stated that her husband pointed out towards their son as he wasn't able to speak much. Talking about the same, Vijayta said:
"When Aadesh was in the hospital, Shah Rukh used to come and meet us. While Aadesh lay on his deathbed, one day before he passed away, he held Shah Rukh’s hand and pointed out towards our son, Avitesh. He couldn’t say anything but drew attention towards Avitesh suggesting that you take care of him after I am gone."
The former actress revealed that after Aadesh passed away, Shah Rukh never kept in touch. The number he gave him was not working. Vijayta revealed that Shah Rukh should help Aadesh's family as they are in dire need of it. She stated that he could launch his son, Avitesh, in his Red Chillies film. He said:
"The number that was given to us is not working. Main Shah Rukh ko yaad dilana chahti hoon. He was a good friend of Aadesh Shrivastava. This is the time Shah Rukh! We need you, come and help my son. He needs a little push. He can make a film under Red Chillies with Avitesh, he is such a good actor."
Vijayta also highlighted the fact that her brothers, music composer duo, Jatin-Lalit, have worked hard to make him a star, and he should consider her family and take care of them. She shared that it was her brothers, who gave superhit songs for his films. She said:
"Shah Rukh Khan is a big star today, but my brothers have played a major role in his career. They gave a string of superhit songs for his films with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Raju Ban Gaya Gentlemen, etc. He was new when he came, my brothers played a major role in his success. He will have to consider all this and do something for the family."
Well, Vijayta is definitely a strong woman. She raised her two kids alone after her husband, Aadesh, died!
