Aaliyah Kashyap has posted some more rare and unseen pictures from her intimate Haldi ceremony, in presence of her dad, Anurag Kashyap.
Aaliyah Kashyap is happily married to the love of her life, Shane Gregoire. The Haldi ceremony of the couple had taken place on December 8, 2024. Now, it looks like Aaliyah is not yet out of her wedding festivites as a while ago, she took to her Instagram handle to share some unseen pictures from her Haldi ritual, where her complete family was seen.
Aaliyah, a while ago on January 4, 2024 took to her Instagram handle to share beautiful pictures from her Haldi ceremony. In the snaps, she and Shane were drenched in marigold and turmeric flowers and shared beautiful moments with their family members. As seen in the first snap, Aaliyah gave a candid pose, followed by Shane giving her a bear hug. The third snap was all things adorable as Aaliyah, Shane posed with Anurag, his ex-wife, Aarti, Shane's family members. The smile on Anurag's face was priceless, and he was happy seeing his daughter settle down.
The remaining pictures showed Aaliyah being blessed by the elders and posing with her friends. She had also dropped cute pictures with Shane. The social media influencer in her caption wrote about the moments from her Haldi ceremony.
Anurag Kashyap had kept Aaliyah's cocktail night party in Mumbai. He looked pale while interacting with the paps who requested him to smile. The filmmaker was filled with emotions and hid them behind his black shades. For any father seeing his daughter get married is difficult. Anurag expressed his emotional side to the paparazzi and said that he is the father of the bride. He is feeling like crying but he has to pretend to be happy.
During a previous episode of the podcast titled Young Dumb and Anxious, the filmmaker revealed that his daughter's wedding budget was like the budget of one of his films. Aaliyah had taken this comment sportingly and said that her father should be thankful to not have more kids. For the unversed, Aaliyah had met Shane on a dating app. She had given a humorous reply to her dad, Anurag who spoke about her wedding budget by saying:
“It’s okay. I am your only daughter. I feel like you can make an exception. You are lucky you don’t have more children so you don’t have to do this again and again. I am your only child so it’s one and done. So it’s fine. It’s once in a lifetime thing."
In the same interview, when Aaliyah asked Anurag's opinions on seeing her marry Shane, he said that he was happy and like the world has changed so much. He also said that he had married when he was of her age but was not as wise as Aaliyah's generation. Anurag added:
"We were not prepped for it. We were not ready for it."
