Aaman Devgan who is the nephew of Kajol shared how his 'mami' always chases after him with a nail cutter. Here's what Aaman had to say about the same.
Kajol Devgan's nephew, Aaman, made his Bollywood debut with Azaad, opposite Raveena Tandon's daughter, Rasha Thadani. The film directed by Abhishek Kapoor introduced Aaman and Rasha as the debutants. The movie may have tanked at the box office, but it seems like Aaman did not get affected. He has a close bond with his aunt, Kajol who has always supported him. For the unversed, Aaman is the son of Neelam Devgan who is the sister of Ajay Devgn. Now, Aaman, in an interview with News 18 Showsha, shared how his mami, Kajol, is obsessed with him keeping his nails short.
Well, keeping your nails short saves you from bacteria and Aaman shared how his aunt, Kajol keeps a tab on his hygiene. For Aaman, his aunt, Kajol has always been a great source of inspiration and her love for her nephew is limitless. During an interview with News 18, Aaman revealed that everyone knows Kajol for the energy she has. She is so fun, and positive. He shared:
"She also yells at me a a lot of times. Like sometimes there is a very weird thing I don't know why if my nail is like 1 cm longer than it should be she chases me with a nail cutter. I wanna cut. I run and she chases me. Her energy is completely different."
Rasha, who was sitting next to Aaman, also shared how he had sent her a picture of his nails a while back and said Kajol has always been telling him to cut his nails. For the unversed, Aaman had studied at the prestigious Jamanbai Narsee School, in Mumbai. He did his Bollywood debut at the mere age of 24 and has been trying his best to do work like his mama, Ajay and mami, Kajol. To talk about his debut movie, Azaad it showcased India's fight for freedom from the clutches of the Britishers. Apart from Aaman and Rasha, the film also had Diana Penty, Piyush Mishra, Jiya Amin, Mohit Malik and many others.
Aaman, once in an interview with Bollywood Bubble shared that Kajol never gave him any direct advice but always told him to be in his skin. He also shared that whenever he was feeling sad or low about something in life, he just went and sat in front of her. Kajol has an energetic and positive aura. In the words of Aaman:
"My mood instantly changes. I feel like what she’s taught me through her actions is that there’s no reason to ever be sad because everyone only gets one life. You don’t know if you’ll be reborn, so you should live life to the fullest. She carries that energy 24/7, and I find that so hard to do. I honestly don’t know how she does it. If I can embody even a fraction of that, it would be amazing.”
Speaking of Kajol, she married Ajay in 1999 after the couple had dated for four years. They are blessed with two kids- Nysa and Yug. Kajol and Ajay met on the sets of their movie, Hulchul in 1995 and were seen in movies like Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha and Ishq.
