This Eid, we might be faraway from our relatives, but they are always in our hearts. And Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan proved it right by wearing step-mom, Kiran Rao's saree for the special day.
Eid is the perfect time to relish many bowls of your relatives homemade 'seviyan' and enjoy 'dawaat' of biryaani. But this Eid was not so meethi as no one's doorbell rang because of the 'stay at home orders' due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This Meethi Eid, the entire world prayed for the normal days to come back and families to host big get-togethers again without the fear of coronavirus. While everyone enjoyed an intimate Eid, Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan surprised her fans and family by wearing a saree which was apparently given by her step-mom, Kiran Rao. For those who don't know, Ira Khan is the daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta. While many think that a child can never share a happy relationship with their step-parents, Ira proved it wrong. The star kid shares a lovely relationship with her step-mom, Kiran Rao, in fact, the latter also equally loves her like her own daughter. We have seen a perfect modern family scenario in the relationship Aarmir Khan's kids, Ira Khan and Zunaid Khan with first wife, Reena Dutta share with their step-mother, Kiran Rao.
On the occasion of Eid, Ira surprised her fans and family by draping a saree which was apparently a gift from her step-mommy, Kiran. Ira took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures in a beautiful red saree. She revealed how she has tried to drape the saree first time on her, her caption can be read as "Eid Mubarak! From me and my successfully-self-draped-saree to you!" Ira in her comments revealed that the saree was a gift from her step-mom, Kiran Rao. Check it out:
Last year, on Ira's birthday, Kiran had shared an adorable wish for her step-daughter. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a lovely picture with her. Coming back to Aamir's relationship with his kids, Ira and Junai, in an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, he had revealed the loss he had incurred. He had stated, "What I lost is a million dollar question! I started working at the age of 18. Professionally, I got so engaged that I could hardly give time to my Ammi. Yes! A little later in life, after I got married and became the father of Junaid and Ira, I didn’t have much time for them either — owing to my busy schedule. I surely lost out on maintaining my relationships with my Ammi, kids, and wife Reena, and now Kiran as well."
