Aamir Khan rose to immense stardom with his debut film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. But not many know that he was already married to Reena Dutta by then. However, he kept it hidden as it would have affected the success of his first film. After living together for a couple of years and two children later, they parted ways. Soon, Aamir fell in love with Kiran Rao and married her in 2005. But the marriage was short-lived, and they parted ways. And now, Aamir has gotten lucky in love for the third time. The sixty-year-old in love looks like a young boy who found his first love.
For the past month, reports about Aamir falling in love again have been going viral. It was also claimed that Aamir's girlfriend met his family as well. Now, on his 60th birthday, Aamir informally introduced her to the photographers and media present for his birthday celebration.
Aamir's girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, is the mother of a six-year-old. She lives in Bengaluru and prefers to keep her personal life private. It is the reason Aamir requested the photographers present at his celebration not to post his girlfriend's photo on his social media handle.
According to Gauri's LinkedIn profile, she has been a partner and director with B Blunt since 2007. She had completed her schooling at Blue Mountain School. She graduated with a degree in FDA Styling and Photography from the University Of Arts London.
Aamir and Gauri met 25 years ago, but they had lost touch over the years with work and personal life. But a few years ago, they reconnected. However, they started dating 18 months back, and Aamir, being a doting boyfriend, remembered the exact time period. While talking to the media, Aamir joked how they were not able to catch him and said:
"See, tum logon ko pata nahi lagne diya na maine."
Further, in his interaction, Aamir revealed that he has been preparing Gauri for the 'mad world' of entertainment, and he has even hired a private security for her. He stated that it would give him a 'personal peace of mind'.
Aamir, who likes to keep everything transparent in his personal life, revealed that his children and family know about Gauri and had met her. They are happy and over the moon after meeting her. Giving a reference to his 2001 super hit film, Lagaan, Aamir joked:
"Bhuvan ko uski Gauri mil hi gayi."
