Abhinav Shukla's mother-in-law wished him luck for his stint in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' and assured him that they are taking the best care of his wife, Rubina.
Abhinav Shukla has left for Cape Town for the shooting of Khatron Ke Khiladi. His wife, Rubina Dilaik is battling with COVID, and like any caring husband, Abhinav is worried about his wife's health and well being. To curb his worries, Abhinav's mother-in-law assured him about his wife, Rubina's health.

For the unversed, Rubina Dilaik had tested positive for COVID 19 and to inform her fans about the same, Rubina Dialiak had made a post on her IG handle. She had written, "I always look out for silver lining!! I will be now eligible for donating plasma after a month. Tested positive! Home quarantine for 17 days! Whoever has come in contact with me past 5/7 days, plz get yourself tested!"
Abhinav Shukla's mother-in-law wished him luck for his stint in Khatron Ke Khiladi and assured him that they are taking the best care of his wife, Rubina. Taking to her Twitter handle, Rubina Dilaik’s mom, Shakuntala Dilaik tweeted, “Best of luck genius boy @ashukla09 for #KhatronKeKhiladi11 please focus on your game don’t worry about princess we all are here to look after her.”
Before leaving for Cape Town, Abhinav Shukla had talked to ETimes about his wife, Rubina Dilaik and had said, "Yes I am getting ready for that. I just want Rubina to be totally fine. I have made a flow chart for her which includes the things to do in certain situations based on a person's symptoms. Once she gets better, I will be relieved and can comfortably go for the show. Thankfully, as of now she has good immunity and is fighting it well. Her symptoms are stable and everything is good so far. I am managing things as much as I can staying here in Mumbai while she's in Shimla."

After winning the reality show, Bigg Boss 14, Rubina Dilaik had revealed in an interview with ETimes that during her stay in Bigg Boss 14's house, she and her husband, Abhinav Shukla had decided that they'll get married for the second time after the show ends. Rubina had expressed her wish of tying the knot with Abhinav again. The actress had stated, "Ab main bas destination wedding ke baare mein soch rahi hoon (laughs). There will be a second wedding for sure and a journey of a lifetime, which we had promised each other on the show."
In an interview with ETimes, Bigg Boss 14 winner, Rubina Dilaik had talked about her historic win and had showered immense praises and love on her husband, Abhinav Shukla, for being her pillar of strength. She had said, "Abhinav's support made me stronger. When I won the show, he congratulated me, we hugged and kissed. It was beautiful to have him there with me."
