Abhishek Bachchan recently appeared on Riteish Deshmukh's chat show, where he discussed the possibility of having a second baby with Aishwarya Rai. His blushing face was unmissable.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have dominated the headlines for a while now, but not for the best reasons. Speculations about a potential rift between the couple, an alleged affair between Abhishek and Nimrat Kaur, and family disputes have been spreading for a while now. However, recent pictures of the power couple looking all loved up at a wedding have finally put the rumours to rest. Now, Abhishek was spotted getting coy while talking about having a second baby with Aishwarya, and let's just say fans are breathing a collective sigh of relief.
Abhishek Bachchan recently appeared for a fun-filled conversation with Riteish Deshmukh on the latter's chat show, Case Toh Banta Hai. During the same, Riteish brought up the Bachchan tradition of picking names that begin with the letter 'A.' He pointed out how the names of Amitabh, Abhishek, Aishwarya, and Aaradhya all started with the same letter to prove his point.
Riteish also playfully quipped, ‘Jaya aunty aur Shweta ne aisa kya kar liya.’ As he further asked whether the mother-daughter duo felt 'FOMO,' Abhishek was left in splits of laughter. The I Want To Talk actor stated that only they could answer this question. He then said that the naming system had become a tradition in their house. In Abhishek's words:
"Ye unse puchna padega. Leking ek pratha si bann gayi hai humare ghar mein shayad. Abhishek, Aaradhya…"
Abhishek Bachchan was then interrupted by Riteish Deshmukh, who quickly asked who would come after Aaradhya. The former responded by saying that they would only find out once the 'agli peedhi' came. However, Riteish, known for his quick wit, quipped again:
"Who will wait that much? Like Riteish, Riaan, Rahyl (his two sons), Abhishek, Aaradhya…"
Abhishek was left blushing hard at Riteish's response. After being left speechless for a few seconds, Abhishek finally responded by playfully telling Riteish to be more respectful as he was older than him, which led to the latter touching his feet to end the conversation. Abhishek can be quoted as saying:
"Umar ka lihaaz kiya karo, Riteish. Main tumse bada hoon."

For the unversed, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai welcomed their baby girl, Aaradhya in 2011. Their beloved daughter turned 13 this year on November 16, 2024. However, as rumours about a potential split between Abhishek and Aishwarya started spreading like wildfire, people speculated that the Guru actor had skipped his daughter's 13th birthday. Abhishek's absence from Aishwarya's birthday post for Aaradhya added further fuel to the fire.
However, it later came to light that the actor had very much celebrated his daughter's special day. Play Time India, who organised Abhishek's princess' birthday, posted a video on Instagram of him thanking them for taking care of Aaradhya's special day for the last 13 years. This put the unfounded speculations to rest once and for all.
