Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan's bond with his son, Abhishek Bachchan is an inspiration to millions. We remember how Amitabh had expressed the importance of becoming your son's friend when they start wearing your slippers. And that's the parenting approach Amitabh Bachchan has followed in his life, which made his relationship with his son, Abhishek super special.
For those who don't know, Amitabh Bachchan tied the knot with Jaya Bachchan on June 3, 1973. And a year after, the duo embraced the journey of parenthood with the arrival of their angel, Shweta Bachchan. On February 5, 1976, the family of three had become four when Abhishek Bachchan entered their world. Now, they are enjoying the grandparents' role with Shweta and Abhishek's children.

On September 12, 2022, Abhishek Bachchan took to his Instagram handle and shared a cutesy 'then and now' collage. The actor expressed his joy in surprising his father with a visit on his set. On the left, we can see a childhood picture of Abhishek with his father from his sets. However, it was the current picture, wherein Big B looked all surprised at seeing his son. Along with it, the actor penned an emotional note, and wrote:
"Some things never change! Well, I guess apart from height and facial hair. Surprise visits to his set will always be one of my most favourite things to do."
Talking about Abhishek and Amitabh's relationship, in an interview with The Indian Express, the latter shared that they are like friends. The superstar had stated that he had decided that the moment Abhishek started borrowing his shoes, he would become his friend. Amitabh is extremely close to his son, Abhishek and had once shared a candid picture with him.
