Abhishek Bachchan Talks About 'Light At The End Of The Tunnel', Shweta Bachchan Hopes 'Soon'

Abhishek Bachchan, who is currently being treated in the isolation ward of Nanavati Hospital, shared a picture from his late-night walk in the hospital premises, metaphorically stressing on hope!

On July 11, 2020, the reports of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan being tested positive for COVID-19 had flashed the news portals. The father-son duo was taken to the hospital immediately, and a day later, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan were also tested positive. After staying in the hospital for ten days, Aishwarya and Aaradhya had recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from the hospital. On July 27, 2020, Amitabh Bachchan had expressed his happiness on the news of his daughter-in-law, and granddaughter being discharged from the hospital after recovering from the deadly virus. Big B couldn't hold his tears as he had shared the news with his fans. Sharing a picture of Aishwarya and Aaradhya, Amit ji had written, "Apni chhoti bitiya aur bahurani ko aspatal se mukti milne par, main rok na paaya apne aansoo. Prabhu teri kripa apaar, aprampaar."

He posted a picture of the hospital corridor and wrote, "Light at the end of the tunnel! #latenightwalks." His sister, Shweta Bachchan Nanda showed her support and commented, "Soon" on his post. Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan had shut down a troll who had tried to take a jibe at him. Abhishek had tweeted about his show Breathe: Into the Shadows when a troll had tweeted, "Your father admitted in hospital... Ab kiske bharose baith ke khaoge? (who will feed you now)". To which, Abhishek had responded, "Filhaal toh let ke kha rahe hain dono saath aspatal mein (right now both of us are eating lying on our backs at the hospital)."

The troll had then replied, "Get well soon sir... Har kisi ki kismat me let ke khana kaha (not everyone has the good fortune to eat while lying on their backs)." At this, Abhishek had responded saying that he hopes that person never has to suffer through the deadly disease the way he and his family have. "I pray that you are never in a situation like ours and that you remain safe and healthy. Thank you for your wishes, ma'am." His polite response had gone down well with the public and people had lauded him for his conduct. One user had commented, "How sweet of you Sir to reply to such trolls in such a polite manner.. On July 27, 2020, Amitabh Bachchan had penned a long note on his official blog on Tumblr and in one section, he had hit back to the troll, who had wished death for him. In his long note, Big B had written, "They write to tell me .. "I hope you die with this Covid". Hey Mr Anonymous, you do not even write your Father's name because you do not know who Fathered you. There are only two things that can happen... either I shall die or either I shall live... if I die you wont get to write your diatribe anymore, by weathering your remark on a celebrity name... pity... for, the reason of your writing to be noticed was, because you took a swipe at Amitabh Bachchan... that shall no longer exist!!"
