Amid their fans and family have been waiting for their wedding, Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar revealed that they had decided not to get married, and shared the reason behind the same.
Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar are one of the much-loved couples in the telly world. The mushy lovebirds, Sanam and Abigail, sent everyone into a frenzy with their jaw-dropping chemistry in Nach Baliye season 8. The duo has been together for a long time now, and they decided to get married during lockdown. However, being in a relationship for way too long, the duo's friends, family, and fans want them to take the next step and tie the knot. However, recently, Abigail and Sanam shared if they have decided to take the next step and get married.
In an episode of Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol on their podcast, Couple Of Things, Abigail, and Sanam were asked how many times they have been questioned about their marriage. To this, Sanam mentioned that almost everyone around them asks the same question about when they would take the plunge. However, Abigail mentioned that she and Sanam decided not to get married.

Talking more about the same, Abigail mentioned that during the lockdown phase, they had thought of getting married, but they later realised that they didn't actually want to get married. Abigail also added that the only reason they wanted to get married was because everyone was asking them to take the step.
In the same interview, Abigail stated that if they are getting married only for the fear that their relationship won't last long, then it means that their relationship has never been strong. The actress also mentioned that people often assume that not getting married to their partner would bring a lot of problems, but there is no such guarantee that after the wedding, there won't be any kind of problems. Sanam added that their relationship is not like an open door that they can just get out, and in their heads, they are husband and wife and are married.

When Sanam and Abigail first met one another, they became very good friends, but somewhere deep down, they knew that they wanted to be more than just friends. But Sanam was a bit slow in the process as he was a bit shy, which caused Abigail to lose hope. In an old interview, Abigail talked about her first meeting with Sanam, which had gone wrong. The actress said that one of her friends wanted her to meet Sanam. Talking about how they met, Abigail said when she reached her friend's house Sanam appeared before her in a towel, and she told her friend that she would never meet her now-lover.

After a couple of years of their friendship, the duo met at a common friend's party, and that's when Sanam gathered strength and ended up proposing to Abigail in such a state when she was all sleepy. As a reply, Abigail responded to Sanam's proposal with a 'Thank you'.
