Amitabh Bachchan hosts the popular television, show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', and he is scared that his wife, Jaya Bachchan might get angry after watching the recent episode.
Kaun Benga Crorepati is an Indian television hit show. The show had premiered on July 3, 2000, and was hosted by Bollywood’s Big B, Amitabh Bachchan. It was his first appearance on Indian television. Since then, Amitabh Bachchan has hosted most of KBC’s seasons and still hosts the current season of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13.
The 23rd episode Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, started with the Kathak teacher, Namrata Ajay Shah, who belongs to Gujarat. She started the quiz show with the fourth question and impressed Amitabh Bachchan with her knowledge, dancing, and singing skills.

However, as the show proceeded, the contestant, Namrata, asked a cute question to Amitabh Bachchan. She asked him if she could call him 'Amit Ji' instead of 'sir', and couldn’t stop blushing when he answered that she could just call him ‘Amit’.
Moving ahead, in the next instance, Namrata Ajay couldn’t stop looking at Big B as she complimented his expressions. She said that he looked ‘innocent’. Listening to this, Amitabh Bachchan smiled and replied to her, saying, “Patni ji ko bhi bol dijiyega ki mai bahut hi innocent kisam ka insaan hoon. Jhagda wagda na kiya kijiye humare sath.” After saying this, he smiled again and added that his beloved wife, Jaya Bachchan, would get angry at him when she will watch the episode.
After completing her question for Rs. 3 lakhs 60 thousand, the contestant shared a piece of good news with Amitabh Bachchan. She shared that her daughter-in-law is expecting a baby and further requested him to suggest a name for the newborn. Big B happily suggested two names, ‘Adriti’ if it is a girl and ‘Adarsh/Adhiraj’ if it is a boy. This made the contestant overwhelmed. Namrata continued with her game and decided not to take any risk and quit the show when she had to answer a question for Rs. 50 lakhs. Namrata took home Rs. 25 lakhs with her.

On September 5, 2020, actor, Amitabh Bachchan had posted a throwback picture on his Instagram handle with his actress-wife, Jaya Bachchan. The photo was from their first movie together, Bansi Birju. In the old-style black and white photo, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were seen sharing a hug. Sharing the picture, he had written, “Our first film together .. ‘Bansi aur Birju'.. released Sept 1, 1970 .. that’s 49 years ago.” Although, Big B got the year wrong, as the film was released in 1972, which makes it 49 years.
Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Kaun Banega Crorepati’s 24th episode on September 23, 2021.
