Lisa Ray, a Canadian actress got married to her American fiancé Jason Dehni on 20 October, 2012 in Napa Valley, California. It is the same place where they got engaged. Lisa Rays’ Bengali father chose October 20 for her daughter to marry as it a very auspicious day for Bengalis. It falls around “Durga Puja”, the most holy festival of Bengalis. The newly-wed couple will soon have an Indian reception for some more close friends and relatives in early 2013. They are yet to finalize their reception venue in India. Eminent designer and a very dear friend of Lisa Wendell Rodricks designed her heavily embellished wedding gown. Later, she changed and wore a Satyapaul saree. Lisa wore an Anarkali suit, designed by Tarun Tahiliani on her sangeet ceremony. The wide cuisine of food at her wedding ranged from Indian to Lebanese to various international cuisines. The newly- wed couple will honeymoon in beautiful island Bora Bora, A French Polynesian island.
