Aditi Rao Hydari glows in a pink 'anarkali' as she flaunts her 'sindoor' as she made her first appearance with Siddharth after marriage.
Aditi Rao Hydari and her now husband, Siddharth, exchanged vows in a truly special and heartwarming traditional ceremony on September 16, 2024. Their traditional South Indian wedding took place in a 400-year-old temple, Wanaparthy, and the duo looked straight out of a desi fairytale in their wedding pictures. The couple's journey began on the sets of the movie, Maha Samudram in 2021. After a few years of courtship, they got engaged in March 2024, and are now officially 'Mrs and Mr Adu-Siddhu'.
A while back, shutterbugs captured Aditi Rao Hydari and her husband, Siddharth, touching down Mumbai as they made their first appearance post-wedding. The actress glowed in a pink-hued Anarkali suit with a red border and detailing as she blushed and walked hand-in-hand with Siddharth. Aditi looked her happiest as she flaunted her post-wedding glow and sindoor. She completed her look with jhumkas, pink dewy makeup, bindi and left her tresses in loose curls.
Aditi Rao Hydari's glow was unmissable, while Siddharth looked jolly at his first public appearance after the wedding. The actor opted for a more casual approach, as she donned a denim shirt and dark jeans pants, which he paired with a cap, a side bag, and black headphones. The newlywed couple constantly smiled as they walked through the airport exit-way and promised to bring sweets for the paparazzi the next day.
Aditi's wedding attire was a testament to the rich Indian heritage. She chose a handwoven Maheshwari tissue lehenga, paired with a Banarasi tissue dupatta, both from the renowned designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's Heritage textile collection. To complete her look, Aditi adorned herself with Sabyasachi's heritage jewellery. Siddharth, her husband, complemented her in a silk kurta, a handwoven Banarasi dhoti, and a veshti.
At the Galatta Golden Stars event, Siddharth was asked about his engagement. The actor clarified that it wasn't a secret engagement, as many assumed. Instead, it was an exclusive affair, with only their closest family and friends in attendance. The couple exchanged rings at the serene Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple in Telangana. He was quoted as saying:
"Many told me we had done this (get engaged) in secret. There’s a big difference between doing something privately with family and in secret. The ones whom we didn’t invite think it’s a secret, but the ones who were there know it was private."
Siddharth candidly shared his feelings about the proposal, revealing that he was nervous about Aditi's response. He stressed that what truly mattered to him was her answer. He also discussed the wedding date, emphasising that it's a decision for the elders of the family, as it's a 'lifetime date' and not just a shooting date. He expressed:
"These questions on how long it took (for her to say yes) shouldn’t be asked. The end result must be either yes or no, pass or fail. I was worried whether it would be a yes, luckily I passed. The wedding date will depend on the elders (of the family) and what they say. It isn’t like a shooting date I can decide on, it’s a lifetime date. It will happen at the right time once they decide."
