In a recent interview, Aditya Roy Kapur opened up about his marriage plans and relationship status, amid dating rumours with Ananya Panday.

However, amid their relationship rumours in the air, Aditya Roy Kapur finally opened up about his relationship status and marriage plans.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Aditya Roy Kapur was asked about his relationship status. The actor shared that he thinks that it should be kept as a topic of discussion. He also stated as long as it is being discussed, it's a good thing because conjecture is good. Asking to let things flow naturally, Aditya mentioned:
"I think we should let it remain a topic of discussion. As long as it is being discussed it is a good thing. Conjecture is good, let things flow naturally.”

In the same interview, Aditya Roy Kapur was asked about his feelings about marriage as all of his contemporaries are getting married. The actor mentioned that although all of his contemporaries are getting married to him, there's still no FOMO, fear of missing out, and there's only JOMO, joy of missing out. Aditya also stated that he is not losing his sleep with the thoughts of marriage. Aditya shared:
"All my contemporaries are getting married, but I'm not feeling any FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). As of now there is only JOMO (Joy of Missing Out). Whenever things are going to happen, they will happen. I’m not losing my sleep over it.”
In the same interview, Aditya Roy Kapur also talked about social media culture. The actor shared that he is not widely active on the same and does not post quite often. Aditya shared that he doesn't really check reactions and comments, but his friends often send him screenshots of the comments and reactions, but they try to cut out the negative comments.
On July 12, 2023, a buzz was created on the internet as some mushy pictures of the alleged couple, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur, went viral. The pictures were from their vacation in Lisbon. In the photos, we could see Aditya cutely hugging Ananya from behind. Both of them looked stunning in their respective ensembles. While Ananya looked gorgeous in a maxi dress, Aditya slayed in his causal fit.

The pictures went viral soon after the duo reportedly attended a concert by Arctic Monkeys in Spain. Several other pictures of the rumoured duo made their way to social media. In one picture, we could see Ananya and Aditya trying their hands on electric scooters, while in another photo, we could see Ananya getting lost in Aditya's eyes. The alleged couple's photo from Doha also went viral on the internet. However, the duo recently made their first public appearance together as they reportedly went out for a movie date post returning from their vacation.
