Adnaan Shaikh's father bashed the former's sister, Iffat, for making false narratives and creating a mess out of the former's marriage. He said he and son didn't know about Ayesha converting to Islam.
Adnaan Shaikh has been hitting the headlines, since the time he got married to his ladylove, Ayesha. Soon after Adnaan and Ayesha's wedding, the former's sister, Iffat, made some shocking claims. She revealed that Ayesha's original name was Riddhi Jadhav, and she converted to Islam to marry Adnaan for fame. Not only this, Iffat even claimed that Adnaan had hurt her and her father-in-law physically, for which she filed an FIR against her brother, and he was even jailed. Adnaan called these claims false, but Iffat went on to make some more serious claims. Amid this, Adnaan and Ayesha's father revealed the truth.
In a recent interview with Zoom, Adnaan Shaikh's father, Abdul Mabood Shaikh dismissed the claims of his son physically hurting Iffat. He revealed that he was hospitalised, and his wife was bedridden, and that was when Iffat and her father-in-law came to visit them, despite him requesting them not to come due to the issues going on in the family. Adnaan's father added that Iffat started crying seeing her mom, and when her brother witnessed her in the hospital, he got angry.
Adnaan's father revealed that Iffat started recording everything. Thus, he snatched her phone and asked her to leave. Well, although Iffat's father-in-law left the room, she didn't. Abdul mentioned that later, after a lot of tries, he and one of Adnaan's friends managed to make them go from the hospital, and there was no physical violence at all. An excerpt from Abdul's statement can be read as:
"Somehow, they left by catching a taxi. If Adnaan said anything, my daughter didn’t hold back either. She has made things very difficult. I’m telling you, I’ve been troubled since 2018. I only pray to Allah that if a child is like this, if a daughter is like this, then it’s better to have no children at all. It’s less painful to be childless than to endure such pain from your own children. So, there was no issue of physical violence at all.”
In the same interview, Adnaan's father mentioned that the BB OTT 3 fame asked about who was leaking his wife's photos, and nothing more than that happened. Abdul revealed that neither he nor Adnaan had any idea about Ayesha converting to Islam, and no one forced her to do so. He revealed that Ayesha would come to their home and was attracted by Islamic culture. In Adnaan's father's words:
"Regarding the viral picture, there's a discussion that Adnaan mentioned—asking who is making this picture viral. Look at my wife's face. It's as if the girl who recently got married to Adnaan, her name was Riddhi, before converting. When did she convert? Neither Adnaan nor I know. There was a strong bonding between the siblings at that time, and Ayesha used to come to our home as well. We had religious programs at home, which she liked. She was drawn to Islam, and no one forced her to convert or pressured her. Islam naturally appealed to her."
Abdul further shared that earlier, Ayesha and Iffat used to share a very good bond, and the former trusted the latter. Ayesha shared some private photos with Iffat, and someone created a fake ID to share it all, wherein Adnaan's wife has been getting derogatory comments. Sharing that Adnaan had lodged an FIR about a year ago, Abdul said:
"This issue arose when Ayesha used to visit us and had a good bond with my daughter. They’d go shopping together on Linking Road. Everything was fine then. But something happened between the women, and Ayesha shared some personal pics, assuming she could trust my daughter. Then things escalated, and someone created fake IDs to post those personal things online. Adnaan, of course, took his wife's side, as she’s his life partner now, and they supported each other."
In the same interview, Adnaan's father added that Iffat got divorced back in 2018, and she then wanted to clear UPSC. He also revealed that Iffat got married to the man of her choice, but eventually parted ways with her first husband. She got married again for the second time despite her family's disapproval. Adnaan's father shared that they all got to know about Iffat's current husband's bad habits, and shared that Iffat's hubby is involved with others. Abdul also confirmed Adnaan's claims of Iffat's in-laws' pressure to give them dowry.
