In a recent interview, Sharmin Segal talked about her bond with Aditi Rao Hydari, credited her for always being there for the former, and called her 'helpful.'
Sharmin Segal has been the target of immense mockery for quite some time now. It all started when viewers were not satisfied with her acting in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar and accused Sanjay Leela Bhansali of casting her in the web series because of nepotism. For the uninitiated, Sharmin is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece.
As time went on, people started to nitpick on Sharmin's interviews and called her out for being rude to her co-stars. In one such video interaction, Sharmin called her co-star, Aditi Rao Hydari a 'school girl' for being punctual. This wasn't received well by the audience, who criticised the actress left, right, and center.

Sharmin recently sat for an interview with Instant Bollywood, wherein she was asked about her bond with her Heeramandi co-stars. Sharmin revealed that throughout the shoot, there were times when Aditi helped her. She was there with Sharmin all along the way and would look out for her. Aditi would fix her hair and make her shooting experience a lot easier. In Sharmin's words:
"There were so many times when Aditi helped me, was checking on me, making sure I was ok, while we were shooting. Just like fixing my hair for me, sometimes when it used to come on my face before a shot. She was always very helpful."
Netizens are, however, still not impressed with Sharmin and accuse her of trying to do damage control. They feel like, Sharmin is trying to clear her image by praising her co-stars.
In a previous interview, Sharmin Segal could be seen disrespecting her Heeramandi co-star, Aditi Rao Hydari, as she sarcastically called the latter a 'school girl'. Sharmin took a dig at Aditi's punctuality, portraying her as an overly rigid person who thinks herself better than everyone else. In Sharmin's words:
"Aditi is a good school girl; please understand that. When the teacher says you have to submit your homework at this time, Aditi will do exactly that and not one more word than the word count limit. That is Aditi for you. So, according to her, everyone is late, and she is on time."
