One of the most adorable couples in the industry, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, are all set to exchange marital vows on February 21, 2024. They opted for an intimate and eco-friendly beach-side ceremony in Goa. A few days ago, we got a glimpse of Rakul and Jackky’s wedding invite. Moreover, their pre-wedding festivities had already begun, and the couple now sought blessings from the almighty before the wedding.
On February 17, 2024, Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani were spotted together as they visited the Siddhivinayak temple to seek blessings from the almighty ahead of their wedding. They were seen carrying a thaal of offerings for God while being papped. The bride-to-be also radiated a pure bridal glow as she is counting days to become 'Mrs Bhagnani' soon.

In another video from their appearance post seeking blessings at the temple, Rakul and Jackky were seen wearing chadars as they posed together for the paps present over there. Moreover, the bride-to-be was seen holding shaguun ka nariyal and a few flowers in her hand. While Rakul looked gorgeous in a pink-hued georgette gharara featuring white embroidery near the borders, Jackky looked dapper in a green kurta with denim pants.

On February 16, 2024, Rakul took to her official Instagram handle and shared glimpses of her look for her first wedding festivity, a Dhol night with Jackky. For the function, she wore a green-hued georgette sharara set featuring mirror work all over it. She styled it with a sleeveless peplum top featuring a plunging neckline and a scalloped dupatta. Upon researching, we found out that the dress was from the shelves of ace designer, Seema Gujral, and the price of the same is Rs 1,28,000. Rakul accentuated her look with kundan jewellery, an open hairstyle and nude makeup.

Earlier, we stumbled upon the minimal yet aesthetic wedding invitation that surfaced on social media. The card was decorated with pastel blue and pink colours, and featured caricatures of a mandap and other elements from a seashore. It also mentioned their personalised hashtag, ‘Ab Dono Bhagna-Ni’. In addition, as per a report by Hindustan Times, we learned that Rakul and Jackky opted for an eco-friendly wedding, wherein they wouldn't burst firecrackers at any event during their wedding festivities. Moreover, the duo would plant as many trees equal to the total carbon footprint of their entire wedding celebrations. A source close to the to-be-married couple revealed:
“No physical invites have been sent by the couple and their family. Also, no crackers will be burst at any point. These people will measure the carbon footprint generated during this couple’s wedding ceremonies. They will then tell them how many trees are needed to be planted, in accordance with the footprint. It’s a unique step taken, definitely. The couple will themselves plant it, either immediately after the marriage ceremony or the following day.”
