In a recent candid conversation, Ahsaas Channa and her mother and veteran actress, Kulbir Kaur Badesron, opened up about various unknown anecdotes about the duo's life.
Popular actress, Ahsaas Channa is known for her multiple roles in many films, television series and OTT shows. She has indeed etched a special place in the hearts of her millions of fans. For the unversed, she made her debut with the movie, Vaastu Shastra in 2004, where she played the role of Sushmita Sen's son, 'Rohan'. Afterward, Ahsaas was also seen in several films and television shows, including My Friend Ganesha, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Phoonk, Kota Factory, Hostel Daze, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Oye Jassie, and many others.
Recently, in a conversation with We Are Yuvaa for their YouTube series, Be A Parent Yaar! Mother's Day Special, Ahsaas Channa and her mother, Kulbir Kaur Badesron, opened up about many unknown anecdotes about their life. In one segment of the video, the duo opened up about the void they felt in their life after her parents' separation. For the unversed, the veteran actress, Kulbir was married to a Punjabi film producer, Iqbal Channa, reportedly from 1991 to 2004, and during their relationship, they were blessed with two daughters, Ahsaas and Mehak Channa. During the conversation, Ahsaas was asked if her parents' separation ever affected her perception of love in life.

To this, the doting daughter, Ahsaas mentioned that her perception of love was never affected as she had seen her maasi's successful relationship and many such couples, who were deeply in love with one another. However, she then went on to explain if her mother, Kulbir ever did something less to make her feel the void of her father's absence in their life. The young actress mentioned that looking at Kulbir, she always gets motivated since she has seen the veteran actress work harder than she could for the betterment of her daughters and take full responsibility for both the father and mother in their lives.
However, listening to Ahsaas, her mother got teary-eyed, but soon, the loving daughter consoled Kulbir by explaining how how she had never felt the absence of her father in her life. But they were then asked if companionship is important in life. To this, Kulbir mentioned that it is important, but she went on to explain how she and her daughters, Ahsaas and Mehak, are so close to one another that they share and care about each and everything in one another's lives. In this way, they have become companions.

Earlier, there were multiple media reports, claiming that Ahsaas' father filed a case against her mother, Kulbir and the filmmaker, Karan Johar. According to the reports, Iqbal was against Karan's wish to take his daughter to New York for the shoot of the film, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, that too without informing him. He was upset with the filmmaker for taking his little child without his consent, and thus, he filed the case. Moreover, Iqbal accused his wife, Kulbir, of making their little daughter, Ahsaas, a money-making machine at an early age. He claimed that Ahsaas could not concentrate on her studies, and her education was impacted by the same. However, no further clarification from the actress' side was given afterward.

Ahsaas mostly played the role of a boy in the films and shows while working as a child artist. Thus, when it was later revealed that she was a girl, her fans were simply shocked. Following this, people started mentioning that Ahsaas might have changed her sex at the age of six to become a girl. However, the fact is completely untrue, and even the actress was extremely horrified by the false reports of her sex change operation. In an interview with TellyChakkar, Ahsaas disclosed that people started considering her as a boy because of her roles during childhood, however, she has always been a girl.
