Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan arrived in style for Ashutosh Gowarikar's son, Konark Gowarikar's wedding, but she kept a distance from her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai might have ended their divorce buzz, but one thing seems to be clear: there is a possible feud in the Bachchan family. While Aishwarya showers love on Amitabh Bachchan, she rarely do the same for her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan. At Ashutosh Gowarikar's son, Konark Gowarikar's wedding, the Bachchan family arrived in style. However, in pictures, Aishwarya maintained a distance from Jaya Bachchan.
Recently, Ashutosh Gowarikar's son, Konark Gowarikar, married Niyati Kanakia. The celebration was attended by the who's who of Tinseltown. The Bachchans also marked their graceful presence. In the photos that have been trending, we spotted Abhishek and Aishwarya looking gorgeous as ever as they were seen greeting Ashotosh on his son's special day.
While Abhishek Bachchan looked dapper in a cream-toned sherwani with a maroon-toned pocket square and embellished buttons. On the other hand, Aishwarya looked extremely pretty in a cream-hued chikankari suit with golden hand embroidery and a matching dupatta. Aishwarya dolled up in soft, subtle makeup with maroon-toned lipstick that added a pop of colour. Her pin-straight hair made her look just on point. In another photo, Aishwarya was seen posing with Ashutosh.
We also spotted Jaya Bachchan arriving on stage to give her blessings to the bride and the groom. She even posed for the picture, and while we can see Abhishek in the group picture, Aishwarya chose to avoid getting clicked with her mother-in-law, which shows that not all is seemingly okay between the two.
For the past two years, there have been reports of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's separation. It all started after Abhishek's absence from Aishwarya's 50th birthday. It was further ignited after the actress arrived alone with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, at the Ambani's wedding, which showed that all is not well in the Bachchan family.
However, the Bachchans dismissed the divorce and family feud reports with their recent appearance for Aaradhya's annual day function. In a clip that surfaced on the interent, we could see Abhishek looking after Aishwarya while she was busy explaining things to her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan. She made sure that he was at ease amidst the crowd and paps. We saw Abhishek and Aishwarya holding hands, and the former cutely took care of her by leading the way and pulling her dupatta up.

When some claimed Aishwarya had dropped Bachchan from her name officially, the couple dismissed the reports by arriving together for a wedding. On December 5, 2024, Abhishek and Aishwarya marked their presence at the famous Radiologist Dr Bhujang Pai and philanthropist Sangeetha Pai's daughter, Shwetha Pai. The gorgeousness got married to Badal Thukral in a star-studded wedding reception. For the bash, Abhishek and Aishwarya twinned in black-hued ensembles.
While Aishwarya was dressed up in a black-hued anarkali with golden zari work all over it. She styled it with a matching dupatta. Her look was accentuated with red lips and her signature wavy hairstyle. On the other hand, Abhishek aced his formal look in a black coat, pants, and red-hued round glasses. In one of the photos, we can see Aishwarya busy talking to the bride.
