On May 24, 2020, Aishwarya took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures from her picture book. In a throwback interview with the Femina, Aishwarya had talked about her mother's influence on her life. She had said, "My mother Brindya Rai is the nucleus of my existence. She has greatly moulded me, shaped me, picked me up when I've been down, kept the faith in me and taught me to be the best version of myself that I can be." Speaking of her parents, Late Shri Krishnaraj was an Army biologist and passed away on March 18, 2017. The actress was born into a Tulu speaking Tulu Bunt family in Mangaluru, Karnataka. For those who don't know, Aishwarya had a strong academic background yet she chose to be part of the glamour world and her parents happily supported her. In the same interview with the Femina magazine, the actress had shared, "It wasn’t an impulsive choice, but more of an academic decision. My father travelled a lot as a marine engineer.
