Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has proved her worth in the entertainment industry with her acting skills, dancing moves, sartorial choices and stunning looks. She had won Miss World's title and our hearts with her beauty. Over her decades-long career span, Aishwarya has given many hit movies to the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali film industries.
In 2007, Aishwarya had tied the knot with the love of her life, Abhishek Bachchan and had donned a doting bahu's hat. After her marriage, she had worked in a few films, including Guzaarish, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Jazbaa, Sarbjit and a few others. However, Aishwarya had taken a long gap from big screens to dedicate her time to her family and daughter, and now she is all set to return to movies with Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: I.

In a recent media interaction with ETimes, Aishwarya Rai opened up about completing her shooting with Mani Ratnam for the movie, Ponniyin Selvan: I. Talking about how beautiful experience it was to work with Mani Ratnam, the gorgeous diva said:
"Mani sir has shot both the parts of the film. It was a pleasure working with him, as always."
For the unversed, Aishwarya had worked with Mani Ratnam in three other movies, Iruvar (1997), Guru (2007) and Raavan (2010). And among these, she was paired up with Abhishek Bachchan in two films. While working in the film, Guru, the duo had fallen head over heels for each other and had decided to embark on their forever journey. Their fanbase has always loved their on-screen and off-screen chemistry. When Aishwarya was asked when we could watch this mesmerising jodi on-screen again, the actress hoped and said:
"It should happen."

Concluding her conversation, Aishwarya Rai mentioned even though she is returning to the big screens, her first priority will always be her family and her daughter, Aaradhya. She further mentioned that she will always be committed to her family first and shared:
"My priority is still my family and my child. I braved and stepped out to complete Mani sir's Ponniyin Selvan, but that doesn't change my focus for my family and Aaradhya."
Well, that being said, we can't wait to see Aishwarya and Abhishek's magic on-screen again! On the work front, Aishwarya will also be seen in the movie, Thalaivar 169 along with Rajinikanth.
