The gorgeous actress and former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai, is the dream woman of millions. Even at the age of 50, her beauty can make anyone run for their money. It was in 2007 when Aishwarya added Bachchan to her surname after tying the knot with Abhishek Bachchan. In 2011, the couple hopped on to parenthood and welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
Abhishek and Aishwarya have been married for 16 years, and there have been constant rumours about the couple’s separation for some time. Neither Aishwarya nor Abhishek have commented on the same, but the grapevine has it that the couple is parting ways. Amid the rumours, an old video of Aishwarya resurfaced on Reddit as the actress graced Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan.

In one of the segments of the show, Karan was seen asking Aishwarya the kind of man she would like to marry. To Karan’s question, she replied:
“You guys will know when it happens… I can’t think of a prototype considering the kind of experiences I’ve had. I would just like to take life as it comes.”

On December 5, 2023, the entire Bachchan clan arrived on the red carpet to cheer for Amitabh Bachchan's grandson, Agastya Nanda, as he made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s film, The Archies. The Bachchan family’s awkward expressions caught everyone’s attention. As the video surfaced on the internet, a section of netizens noticed that Aishwarya Rai was not wearing her wedding ring.

It was in 1999 when Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan first met professionally during the photo shoot of their first film together Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke. The duo then worked together in films like Kuch Naa Kaho, Dhoom 2, Sarkar Raj, Umrao Jaan, Guru and Raavan, and eventually, their friendship blossomed into love.
It was during the shooting of Dhoom 2 when Abhishek and Aishwarya developed feelings for each other. After the premiere of the film, Guru in Toronto, Abhishek Bachchan proposed to Aishwarya Rai in New York, and she immediately accepted his proposal. However, only a few people know that Abhishek’s dream proposal was without a sparkling ring but a prop from the sets of their film, Guru.
