Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her soured relationship with her in-laws often make headlines. While Bachchans are trying their best to show the world that all is well in the family, Aishwarya's safe distance from her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan and her sister-in-law, Shweta Bachchan, proves otherwise. It all started when Aishwarya celebrated her 50th birthday with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan and her mother, Brinda Rai. Her husband, Abhishek's absence and his dry wish for her hinted that the couple might have been going through a tough phase.
Recently, a Redditor found an old video of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's reception. In the clip, the entire family arrives together in style. We loved how Jaya Bachchan laughed, and Aishwarya was behind her and looked super happy. We can also see Shweta, who seemed to share a great bond with her bhabhi, Aishwarya. In fact, the two even shared a joke after the photo session.

As soon as the video was shared, netizens flooded the comments section with their opinion and speculated what went wrong between the Bachchans. One user wrote, "Probably( I could be wrong) because everything was fine when she was with her husband, now that she's moved back in her house with her parents, things didn't go well for daughter and daughter-in-law of Bachchans. During the Ambani's bash, we spotted Aishwarya and Shweta for the first time together. However, one can notice the tension in the Bachchans and how Shweta and Aishwarya kept a safe distance. During the Hastakashar ceremony, Amitabh Bachchan made a starry entry with his family. In the video, Amitabh arrived with his daughter, Shweta, and her children, Navya and Agastya, followed by Abhishek Bachchan. The superstar also waited for his bahu, Aishwarya, to join them with her daughter, Aaradhya.
While it was a rare moment, Aishwarya and Shweta maintained a safe distance, and despite the paparazzi's insistence to pose, they didn't stop. Judging by the expressions, there was a moment of discomfort for Shweta, who maintained a straight face, and Aishwarya, who made sure to stay behind the entire Bachchan clan and keep a distance. However, Jaya Bachchan didn't stop for any family members and immediately went inside the venue.
