Famous Telvision actress, Aishwarya Sakhuja is a certified therapist as she didn't want to waste her time to find the right acting project.
Aishwarya Sakujha became a household name with the show, Saas Bina Sasural. It was a unique series that talked about the importance of a mother-in-law in a home filled with men. Aishwarya's role as a modern woman, leaving her 9-to-5 job to be a homemaker, was loved by all. It was a two-year-long show, and people eagerly waited for Aishwarya to be back on the small screen. But it seems like the good projects didn't happen, and the television actress has switched her profession. Now, she is a certified therapist, and she also shared the reason behind it.
In the acting world, there is a lot of struggle. You might be an amazing actor, but it doesn't guarantee your next project with an amazing story. Most television actors have gone through the same, and while waiting for an excellent project, some even committed suicide. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Aishwarya talked about her new beginnings as a therapist. She revealed that she didn't want to waste her time finding the right project.

Further in the interaction, Aishwarya revealed that she has been studying therapy for the past two years, and now she is a working therapist and taking client appointments. She added that she got her certification in June 2024. For the unversed, Aishwarya now conducts workshops for regression therapy. She was quoted as saying:
"I’ve been studying therapy for the past two years and am now working as a therapist, taking clients. I got my certification last month in June. The pictures are from my class as I conduct workshops for regression therapy. I’m a trainer in this subject now."
Aishwarya talked about the challenges of the television industry and revealed how she had lost a lot of people to 'suicide' in this industry. She clearly added that the industry has its ups and downs, and she wants to help her fellow actors deal with mental health. Aishwarya further added that she continues to audition for projects. She was quoted as saying:
"I've lost a lot of people to ‘suicide’ in this industry. With its ups and downs, I understand it personally. I want fellow actors to feel comfortable speaking to me so I can provide professional help for their mental health."
Aishwarya Sakhuja got married to her longtime boyfriend, Rohit Nag, on December 5, 2014. In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Aishwarya was at the peak of her career, and she wasn't sure about getting married to him. She added that she asked her friends to ensure she gets drunk throughout the wedding festivities. Once, Aishwarya revealed that there came a time in their marriage when things took an ugly turn, and they found it hard to adjust to each other's way of living. Aishwarya and Rohit had decided to part ways, but they gave love another chance and went on a trip to Bali.
