Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth Dhanush shared a hugging picture with her estranged husband, Dhanush's brother, Selvaraghavan, on his birthday and the latter's reaction is unmissable.
South Indian actor, Dhanush and Rajinikanth's daughter, Aishwaryaa, had given a major shock to their massive fanbase when they had announced their separation on the night of January 17, 2022. For the unversed, the duo had tied the knot in 2004 and are parents to two kids, Yatra Raja, and Linga Raja.
To announce their separation after 18 long years of married life, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush had shared a lengthy note on their respective social media handles. Asking people to give them privacy to deal with it, the couple had penned:
"18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting... Today we stand at a place where our paths separate... Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this."

On March 5, 2022, Dhanush's brother and director, Selvaraghavan turned a year older. Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, who shares a warm bond with Selvaraghavan, took to her IG stories and shared a hugging picture to mark his birthday. Along with the picture, Aishwaryaa wrote, "Happy birthday my guru, friend father figure n I can go on @selvaraghavan." Resharing the story, Selvaraghan also penned a heartfelt thanksgiving note dedicating to her, which could be read as:
"Thank you my dear daughter."
According to a report in Wion News, Aishwaryaa's father, Rajinikanth, has been trying hard to save his daughter's marriage. The report had mentioned that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa had fights in the initial stage but Rajinikanth used to convince them to stay together. It was also reported that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa's families have been trying their best to bring the estranged couple back together. The portal had quoted a source from Chennai as:
"Rajini Sir has taken his daughter's break up very badly. He keeps insisting that the separation is temporary. He has been urging his daughter to mend her marriage."

As everyone is speculating what went wrong between Dhanush and Aishwaryaa, his father, a famous Tamil filmmaker, Kasthuri Raja had reacted to the news. In an interview with a Tamil newspaper, Dailythandi, Kashthuri Raja had called their separation a mere 'family quarrel'. He had also quashed the reports of their divorce and had reportedly revealed that the estranged couple is living in Hyderabad currently. He had said:
"Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are having a family quarrel just like how a normal husband and wife do which does not mean the end. I spoke to both of them over the phone and gave them some advice."
Well, we hope Aishwaryaa and Dhanush's differences doesn't hamper their relationship with each other's family members!
