On January 18, 2023, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth shared glimpses of her Pongal celebration with her family on her IG handle. However, her fans missed the presence of her estranged hubby, Dhanush.
Rajinikanth's daughter, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth is a popular director, who made her directorial debut in 2012 with the film, 3. Since then, she has been riding high on the professional front, achieving new heights with every passing day. On the personal front, she tied the knot with actor, Dhanush in 2004, and the couple was blessed with two kids, Yatra and Linga. However, Aishwaryaa and Dhanush got separated after 18 years of marriage in January 2022.
On January 18, 2023, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth took to her IG handle and shared a series of pictures from her Pongal celebration with her family. The first picture showed Aishwaryaa cooking in the kitchen, and the slab around the gas stove was decorated with a rangoli design. Moreover, we can also see two brass pots placed on the stove and some garlands and fruits kept on the slab in the picture. In the next picture, Aishwaryaa was seen sitting on the floor and placing some sweets on a banana leaf as she was surrounded by a few people standing around her. Alongside the pictures, Aishwaryaa penned:
"Hope you and your loved ones had a memorable #pongal..may god bless everyone with only happiness, peace and prosperity in abundance."

In the third picture, Aishwaryaa can be seen feeding leaves to cows as she performs the traditional rituals of Pongal along with her mother, Latha Rajinikanth, and some other women. However, it was the last picture that caught our attention as it featured Aishwaryaa, with her sons, Yatra and Linga, seeking the blessings of her parents, Rajinikanth and Latha. For the celebration, Aishwaryaa opted for a cream-hued silk saree and matching blouse and her sons twinned in matching ensembles. On the other hand, while Rajinikanth donned a white shirt and a veshti, his wife, Latha draped an indigo-hued saree with white prints on it.

As soon as Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth shared the pictures on her social media handle, her massive fanbase started pouring love on her. However, some netizens were unhappy with the pictures from Aishwaryaa's Pongal celebration as they missed her estranged husband, Dhanush's presence at the festivities. They flooded the post's comment section and started enquiring about the same. While one user wrote, "Dhanush Anna missing", another one commented, "Dhanush missing". Check out the comments below:
Since Dhanush and Aishwaryaa announced their split, fans have been curious about what went wrong in their relationship, and they want them to reconcile. Earlier, a piece of good news was doing rounds on the internet, and it suggested that the estranged couple might give their marriage a second chance soon. In an interview with a YouTube channel for the magazine, Ananda Vikatan, Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja, reacted to his doting son and his ex-bahu, Aishwaryaa’s patch-up rumours. He refused to give a straightforward answer and said he wanted to see his children happy.
