Ajay Devgn and Kajol had walked the aisle on February 24, 1999. After four years of marital bliss, they had entered the bandwagon of parenthood when they were blessed with a baby girl, Nysa on April 20, 2003. After seven years, the lovely couple had completed their family with the arrival of their son, Yug on September 13, 2010. Ajay and Kajol are doting parents and always encourage their kids. As Yug turned a year older on September 13, 2020, Ajay wished him in the most adorable way.
On September 13, 2020, Yug turned 10 and his doting daddy, Ajay Devgn took to his IG handle to wish his son. He shared pictures of Yug planting a plant on his 10th birthday and in the pictures, Yug looked adorable as he donned a red t-shirt and jeans. Along with the picture, Ajay wrote, “Working towards a Green tomorrow. Cannot ask for more. Happy Birthday Yug. And, lots more to come.” On Ajay’s post, Kajol commented with an array of hearts.
On September 13, 2019, when Yug had turned 9, his doting parents had thought of making his day even more special and had penned heartmelting birthday wishes for him. While Ajay had shared a picture from his and Yug’s Gurudwara visit and had worded it as “It’s a joy watching you grow. Can never have enough.” Kajol, on the other hand, had shared a Dubsmash video of Yug wherein he could be seen winking. She had captioned her post as “Awesome at 3 and even more awesome sauce at 9! According to the reports of the Mid-Day, Ajay Devgn had planned Yug’s birthday at their Panvel farmhouse. Mid-Day had quoted it’s source saying, “Ajay has been looking after Yug at home while working on a few home-productions, including Bhuj: The Pride of India. But, he wants to mark Yug's 10th birthday, and make it special. Since Kajol and Nysa are not here, he has invited his relatives, who will drive down to his sprawling farmhouse over the next few days."
The source had also added that Ajay had ordered Yug’s favourite cake and had a few surprises for him. As Kajol and her daughter, Nysa are in Singapore as Nysa’s college had resumed, the mother and daughter will be skipping Yug’s 10th birthday. The source was further quoted as saying, “This is the first time that Kajol won't be with Yug for his birthday. She will connect with him on video-call."
In an interview with the Filmfare, Ajay Devgn had bared it all out about parenting and the values he wants to inculcate in his children. He had shared, "I spend a lot of time with my children. I want them to be true and honest to themselves. If they're honest to themselves, they'll be honest with us. I want them to respect others and themselves. I tell them that every day. That covers everything. If you respect yourself, you carry yourself with dignity. When you respect others, you uphold your culture. That's the basic foundation."
