Now, as on September 9, 2023, Akshay Kumar turned 56, he announced his next film, Welcome 3, with a stunning video. The video also featured his ex-fiancee, Raveen Tandon along with many other eminent names in the lead roles. The video is indeed a hilarious one and proves the film would be an unmissable one. However, it is also the first time that Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar will share the screen together almost after 19 years. Sharing the video, Akshay wrote:
"Khud ko aur aap sab ko ek birthday gift diya hai aaj. If you like it and say thanks, I’d say Welcome(3) #WelcomeToTheJungle. In cinemas, Christmas - 20th December, 2024."

Although Akshay was famous for his relationship rumours with many Bollywood actresses, he is in marital bliss with the love of his life, Twinkle Khanna. Now, on his 56th birthday, the doting wife shared a beautiful animated post to wish him. She shared an animated version of the duo along with one of their latest clicks and penned:
"Happy birthday Mr K! I love you more than Marge loves Homer."
Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Raveena Tandon was asked about her equation with Akshay Kumar, almost two decades after their breakup. Talking about the same, the diva shared that she and Akshay are still friends. Raveena also added that people should learn to move on in their lives. Further, heaping praise on Akshay, the actress called him one of the strongest pillars of the industry. Raveena had said:
"Akshay and I are still friends. You need to respect it and move on. I think of him very highly. I think he is one of the strongest pillars of our industry."

Akshay and Raveena met for the first time in 1994, on the sets of their film, Mohra. Soon, their friendship started brewing into love. As per multiple reports, they were also on the verge of getting married to each other when they allegedly broke up. In a 1999 interview with Stardust, Raveena cleared the air on her engagement with Akshay. She also revealed why the actor kept shut about the same back then. She mentioned that Akshay was a rising star with a huge female fan following. Thus, he was scared to lose out on his female fans, leading to a downfall in his Bollywood career. Thus, he remained tight-lipped about the same.
