Superstar, Akshay Kumar will be seen promoting his upcoming film, 'Raksha Bandhan' at 'Superstar Singer 2' and got emotional.
Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan is all set to release on the festival of Raksha Bandhan next week. And the actor has been vigorously promoting his film. Recently, the superstar appeared on Sony TV's popular show, Superstar Singer 2 and got emotional.
Akshay Kumar will be seen promoting his film, Raksha Bandhan in the upcoming Raksha Bandhan special episode of the show, Superstar Singer 2. However, what is more remarkable about the episode is that Akshay cries his heart out after getting an emotional message from his sister, Alka Bhatia.

The channel released a promo video on August 4, 2022, of the upcoming episode on social media, which featured Akshay Kumar. In the promo, Khiladi Kumar can be seen getting emotional after he got a voice message from his sister, Alka Bhatia. The actor got into tears when he saw a video montage featuring his sister. In the audio, Akshay's sister can be heard saying:
"Dost, bhai, baap, saare role nibhaye tune."
The Sooryavanshi actor said that his family lived in a tiny house during his childhood. However, everything changed after his sister was born, which is why his family calls her a Devi. In his words:
"Hum ek chhote se ghar mein rehte the, lekin is devi ke aane ke baad puri zindagi badal gayi. Jo behen ka rishta hota hai, usse bada koi nahi hai."

Akshay Kumar dedicated his film, Raksha Bandhan to his sister, Alka Bhatia. While sharing the film's poster on Twitter, he had written:
"A story that will make you laugh, and it will make you cry. And it will make us realise how blessed are those who have sisters. So dedicating this film, #Rakshabandhan to my dear sister, Alka and to the most special bond in the world, that of a brother and sister."
On the popular comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, once Akshay's sister, Alka, revealed some unknown facts about him. When asked about some of Akshay's bad habits, she said that he plays cards. In an interview with the news agency IANS, Akshay Kumar expressed his views on the beautiful bond between brothers and sisters. He divulged his equation with his sister, Alka Bhatia. Akshay believes his sister is a better human being than him.
Akshay Kumar's much-awaited film, Raksha Bandhan is directed by Aanad L. Rai. Talking about the film, it is a story about a brother who vows to get his sisters married and settle in life before him. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Smriti Srikanth, Deepika Khanna, Sahejmeen Kaur and Sadia Khateeb.
The film will hit the theatres on August 11, 2022 and will clash with Aamir Khan's upcoming release, Laal Singh Chaddha. For the unversed, this is Akshay Kumar's third release of 2022 after Samrat Prithviraj and Bachchhan Pandey.
