Alia Bhatt shared the first-ever picture with her newborn baby girl and hubby, Ranbir Kapoor. She also announced her unique name chosen by her 'dadi', Neetu Kapoor.
Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt is in seventh heaven as she is living the life she always dreamed of. Ever since Alia stepped into the world of glam and glitz, she has expressed her wish to get married to Ranbir Kapoor. And her dream got true in the summer of 2022, and soon she was blessed with a baby girl. Fans have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of their daughter, and the wait is over.
On November 16, 2022, Alia had taken to her Instagram handle and confirmed the news of her baby's arrival. In the note, we can see an adorable family of lions with their baby cub. Below it, the newbie parents revealed their excitement to welcome their 'magical' baby girl. Alia also revealed that they are 'blessed and obsessed parents'. Her note could be read as:
"And in the best news of our lives. Our baby is here... and what a magical girl she is.. We are officially bursting with love. Blessed and obsessed parents. Love love love, Alia and Ranbir."

On November 24, 2022, Alia took to her Instagram handle and shared the first-ever family picture with her newborn baby girl. In the picture, we can see the doting daddy, Ranbir holding the baby while Alia cutely looked at her. In the backdrop, a Nike co-ord set was framed, and on the jersey featured their baby girl's unique name 'Raha'. It was a lovely moment shared between the couple and their newborn angel.
Alia also revealed the meaning of her daughter's name. She shared that it was chosen by her dadi, Neetu Kapoor and it is extremely special for them. She wrote:
"The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has so many beautiful meaning. Raha, in its purest form means divine path in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla - rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held her - we felt it ALL! Thank you Raha, for bringing our family to life, it feels as though our lives have only just begun."
A few days ago, the proud mommy, Alia shared a cutesy picture on her IG handle after her delivery. In the picture, she was seen showing off a cup, which featured 'mommy' on it. However, the backdrop was blurred and we were not able to see a proper glimpse of Alia.
We cannot wait to see the face reveal of Alia and Ranbir's baby girl!
