Alia Bhatt's much-awaited film, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is finally set to see the light of the day. The actress took to her IG handle and announced the new release date of the film with a twist.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor often swoon our hearts with their love-filled gestures for one another. From making public appearances together to teasing each other at events, Alia and Ranbir always leave us in awe of them. While Ranbir stays away from social media, his girlfriend, Alia is an avid social media user and often shares pictures with him on her IG handle. Now, as the actress announced the new release date of her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi, she added a twist to her social media post.
On September 28, 2021, Ranbir Kapoor had turned 39, and his girlfriend, Alia Bhatt had posted a romantic picture with him on her IG handle, to wish him on his birthday. In the photo, we could see Alia and Ranbir lost in each other while enjoying a whimsical sunset view. Alongside it, Alia had written:
"Happy birthday my life."

A few moments ago, Alia Bhatt took to her IG handle and delighted her fans with the announcement of the new release date of her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress shared two pictures of herself flaunting her glow under the moonlit sky. However, what caught our attention was the caption, that the actress penned with the pictures. Adding a twist to the caption with her boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor's song, Dekho Chand Aaya from the film, Saawariya, Alia wrote:
"Dekho chand aaya … chand nazar aaya. Gangu bhi aa rahi hain .. 25th February Ko."
On January 7, 2022, Alia Bhatt had shared a series of pictures looking surreal in her no-makeup avatar. While we were drooling over her flawless skin, her caption had sent the ‘Ralia’ fans in a major meltdown moment as she had cheekily mentioned that her ‘boyfriend’, Ranbir had clicked her pictures. She had captioned her pictures as:
“Casually flexing my boyfriend’s photography skills.”
On December 31, 2021, Alia Bhatt had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted adorable pictures from her vacation with Ranbir Kapoor. In the first picture, we could see Alia giving her dimpled smile as Ranbir had clicked her picture. In the other photo, we could see Ranbir, who was busy drinking something from a fancy glass. The other pictures had featured beautiful wildlife glimpses. Alongside it, Alia had written:
"Giving 2022 some hakuna matata energy. Stay safe. Smile. Be simple and love more! happy new year."

On December 15, 2021, the cast of Brahmastra had unveiled the motion poster and had announced the release date of the much-awaited film. During the event, Alia had asked Ranbir:
"Do you remember when it all started? Tell me the first day, I am not talking about the shoot, but the first day we started work on Brahmastra."
Since they had begun dating around the same time, Ranbir had quipped, "You mean, when 'WE' started?" Answering his girlfriend, Alia, Ranbir had not just revealed the exact date and place but had also shared one of the cutest moments of their relationship. He had said:
"2017, 1st of January, Israel, Tel Aviv. And, I remember there's a picture on your Instagram that you put the next morning with a black ganji and a leather jacket which, by the way, she sent to me 15 minutes before she put it on Instagram."
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt's film, Gangubai Kathiawadi will release on February 25, 2022.
